Very charming game. Love the animation and the green trail, very visually appealing!

Movement feels a little slow and the jump feels especially weird, also you have to wait for stuff a lot which is little boring..

Still a very competent game with lots of charm, Good job!

The game looks wonderful. The more I played, the more I started to get the hang of the gameplay. When beating the game there seems to be no option to return to menu. Also the time formatted in milliseconds is not that intuitive. I used the same for my game on the backend, but you can in your game format it back to the time as minutes, seconds, milliseconds so it's easier to understand for players. So that's my feedback, but still a very nice game!

The gameplay feels very nice. Especially the wall jumps are very well done. I also love the animation of the character. From a speedrunning perspective, I find it a bit unfortunate that there's a vertical section where you have to wait for the circular saw to come down. All speedruns that are good enough will have to wait on the same cycle and it's as if there's no point in saving time in the earlier part. It's not a problem for the game itself, but since the game jam is all about speedrunning, I'd rather mention it. But overall it's very fun to play and to speedrun. I managed to get to the top of the leaderboard :)

Always loved that character, modeled the character in my first ever jam game off of it and then seriously considered picking it up to use in my game this jam, cool to see it in use! The gameplay itself was fine, just a little slow feeling - I think that’s partly because of the music being rather slow and ambient. Sawblade hitboxes were not generous to the player, making the final challenge a little awkward, especially trying to precisely end up in the safety holes. The shadow effect gives a weird feeling of like being a puppet or marionette from off screen, but otherwise good use of aesthetics and solid gameplay, great work :)

Nice animations on the character really like how the frames you have created gives the movements lots weight. Would be really nice if there was some sound effects to push it further however I really enjoyed controlling your character. Well thought out level design and your tile art is really good. 

I didn't post the fastest time but I got to the top and enjoyed the play through.

This one had a lot of nice mechanics going for it! The dashing felt and looked great, and all the assets are also used very well. The moving platforms were a tiny bit glitchy, but hey, those are hard to program. (My game's were probably even more glitchy lol). Nice stuff!

The art is really good, but i cant say the same thing for the game itself, it has a lot of unexplained mechanics and i can't beat it because of that.

I agree that the progression may have been a little steep in relation to the difficulty curve, but as a goal we wanted to reach an audience in the area of speed runs, so we assume that the wall jump mechanics based on Celeste and hollow knight are common enough in this medium to present them without many explanations, in the next games we will pay attention to bringing the visuals, gameplay and fun at the same levels, Thanks again for the feedback, in this link I have a video of the game's conclusion, I believe it can help you if you are having difficulty in any area in specific:
