you think, therefore you are...
and yeah even i agree. will try to fix that post jam if i have the time!
Wasn't expecting such a polished game to be made by just one person! and in such a short time too!
great game, but im a little confused. am i supposed to use the homing missiles to protect my ship? cause i keep dying
its probably mentioned in the tutorial but im too lazy to check again and cant remember
Very nice game! only feedback is to change the background a bit (basically just art) cuz every level except the first feels the same. would be nice if there were different thematic parts of the muntain (i understand that it was only 4 days, just saying incase u continue working on it)
also i only did like 7 levels so maybe u do have more and i just didnt see it, in that case mb
level design and puzzles are spot on tho!
Really nice game, but a lil biased cuz i love lego hehe
but i think making seperate currencies takes away fron the decision-making, it would be more fun if it was just gold dots to collect and the played could choose what to invest in (it would also make the player able to make a full-defense, or full-attack tank)
also the enemies are very few, it takes quite a long time to find one. so either enemy number should be more, or map should be smaller. but apart from that this was very well made!
"the rat is too fat to move"
just take my rating and go this is too good lmao
i tried thinking of feedback but i have literally none. its too perfect (ok im jk there is an off-centering issue with fullscreen but the game itself is fine)
also can i know what engine you used? and what tutorials you used (if any)? because ive been thinking of making an isometric turn based game (like Into the Breach) and would like to get any leads possible!
Great game! but i have a little feedback:
what does the 2x firerate mean? does stepping on it increase the firerate or am i supposed to do smth else?
and also the enemies get a tad bit repetitive, so i'd recommend adding more variety. maybe enemies that move faster but are weaker, or vice versa. unless there are other monster and i just didnt get far enough (wave 10)
if there are more, then i'd recommend introducing some of the a little early on. but apart from that this was very cool! (also maybe some rooms could have traps that can hurt the player and the enemies!)
Well i'm not necessarily 'new' but certainly not experienced. i started during 2020 (i did make games in scratch before then, though those were just story games where all you had to do was click spacebar)
and i've never released a full game before, so i guess ill take you up on that and try to make this a full game (although it would have to be later cuz im already working on another project and ive got really important exams happening at the start of next year!)
Really cool game! Superliminal but with frogs in space wasnt something i knew i needed in my life.
although i did get stuck within the first few minutes (i think i broke the game) and so couldnt see much of the puzzles. what i did notice is that if i push into a wall (specifically the ones with glass) it sometimes just springs out instead of falling.
This game was really cool! I honestly thought the game was just basic snake but slower, but when the third axis was introduced... well i hope this one is a winner cuz it deserves a win.
correct me if im wrong but does the gem count stop at 14? cuz after that i couldnt see any more gems.
also maybe a little background would be nice, just like plaid or some dreamworld-esque design/slow-scrolling pattern going on in the back, cuz the empty void feels kinda... empty.
unless that was intended. if so then this is an amazing game and you should be proud of yourself!
Thanks a lot! wasnt expecting feedback this good tbh. will keep that in mind!
also yes the 'down' part was a mistake on my part for not playtesting the game at all.
i did actually try highlighting but it just caused some more bugs with the drag n drop (the cards flew away for no reason smh)
and the link was originally perfect - but i couldnt add some of the theme connections; funny enough, there was actually a concept where the player could cut out a picture and only take out the parts they needed to attach to the frame, but it seemed too ambitious for my skill level so i decided to go with basic cards
Yeah the bugs really take away from this game. probably should have spent time focusing on that instead of planning ideas that never entered the game lmao
although it can also be argued that the bugs are designed to show the computer sabotaging your run (this is not true, im just making up an excuse)
i blame the guy who developed the computer engine lmao
Really cool game! Feedback:
the game takes a little time to start (i mean that the enemies take quite a bit of time to appear, so many people playing might think the game is broken and just leave. its better to get smth happening quick, whether its an intro or gameplay) its not that big of a deal tho!
also im a little confused as to how im supposed to stop the tank from killing me. i tried shooting it but i did nothing. did i do smth wrong or is that a bug?
Very nice and fun! i remember seeing this in progress pics and was hoping it would be published ontime. Although there is a little bug where the player sometimes randomly gets stuck on a corner of a platform (a platform i hadnt even moved) but apart form that everything was great! i love the visuals
Thanks a lot!
That was actually supposed to be the case lol. had the tutorial scene ready and everything, but in the end i decided to throw it out cuz i realised it would take too long to explain everything
and ig it also fits the theme of the computer not teaching you how to play and trying to sabotage you (in itch page desc)
