Nice game, especially the title art

Thank you so much! It was a joint effort between my daughter and I so it means a lot! I did my best making her art into a vector drawing and it’s not a perfect rendition of it, but I did my best using what little I know how to do in Inkscape :)

It's amazing that you made this in 96 hours solo, and using UE! Fantastic art style and visual, it's cute that your daughter makes the art. Also the amazing UI makes this game not feel like a jam game, more like a demo for a full game. I run the game in full resolution and the frame rate is a little bit low. And i think it's better to develop more mechanics and add into this game, increase the diversity of puzzles, that will makes this game a litle bit more fun and unknown for those who have played superlinimal before. Greate work after all, looking forward to see you develop this into a full game with your family!

That's impressive for a jam game. Almost feels like a level taken from a full game with a whole voice acted story and visuals. I did manage to softlock myself on the stacking barrels section, as some of the barrels fell out of the room, leaving me with not enough to climb up to the power cell but that's the only main issue I encountered. I just restarted the game and managed to do it on my second try. I liked a lot of the rooms, especially the final room. Realising I had to grab an entire star was so cool. Good job!

You guys managed to cram a lot into this little game. Kudos!

The story and levels are very well-designed. And the voice acting is amazing too. The only annoying part is the asteroids parkour part. It was kinda slippery. Or maybe I'm just bad lol

I didnt even realise it was a superliminal game until it was too late! The very competent voice acting was a pleasant surprise, and the presentation was great! Very good work!

Really cool game! Superliminal but with frogs in space wasnt something i knew i needed in my life.

although i did get stuck within the first few minutes (i think i broke the game) and so couldnt see much of the puzzles. what i did notice is that if i push into a wall (specifically the ones with glass) it sometimes just springs out instead of falling.

Supercool game! Liked the voiceover, story and the puzzles! amazing work!

I love the game mechanic, like from Superliminal, but I don't think it was utilized very well. I enjoy goofy dialogue, especially in an indie game, but I felt it took away from the game rather than adding to it.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on what might’ve been a better implementation! My daughter and I will be developing this into a full game after the jam is over so any feedback helps!

I do hope you consider the effort involved in fully voicing the experience in the time given as well when rating. :)

Just following up! Hoping to get constructive criticism rather than just criticism :)

hey, please don’t view my comment as criticism. I would be happy to delve into more specific feedback when I get the chance. Just been a bit busy recently. Apologies if I came off too strong, but it was not my intention.

Sorry for the late reply, I haven't had a chance to go back into your game to give a more in-depth review. It's just a game jam so I don't want to be hyper critical. But I do remember the biggest concern I had for your game was that the game mechanic of moving objects to scale based on distance is introduced too hastily. This game mechanic is super cool, so it's best to introduce it to the player in a way that wows them. The first time you use the scaling mechanic feels like magic, but my first experience with it in your game was on a random barrel. You should capitalize on this first user experience with a really cool implementation of it. Maybe the game starts with the player casually walking around the ship, then all of a sudden a large asteroid crashes into the ship's corridor and blocks the way to escape! Things seemed doomed until the player realizes they can pick up the asteroid and make it small. I know you have something similar to that with the asteroid, but I just extrapolated on it a bit.

Anyways, wish you the best on all your endeavors. It's adorable to hear you're working on a game with your daughter. God bless!

The UI is truly Fantastic. Game Mechanics are good.  Decent Puzzles. The problem is with Audio. The voiceover collide with each other, But over all a very Good idea

Okay, I just played it. And I have to say, I really like it. I am not normally a big puzzle game kind of guy, but I really like the gameplay in this one. The atmosphere is also great, especially with the voiceovers, and the fact that this has a whole story to it makes it even better. Awesome project. Good job, guys!

Although I can feel my computer retiring with this one, it was honestly very fun XD

Already a good start for a game jam project! I enjoyed the concept of scaling objects and especially liked the addition of voice overs to speak during certain triggers. That helped make this much more enjoyed to play through!

Great job! I do not like jumping puzzles, but I loved the dialogue and game aesthetic! Fantastic work for a 4-day jam!

The scale by camera angle is a neat mechanic, and we thought the game was cute!

As some people have mentioned, we also had some problems with collisions, but thanks to the forgiving spawn points we managed to finish the game.

We really liked the final grab and scale of the game!

Well done and keep up the good work!

This is a good game start for toy and your daughter the main issue is the collisions you should try to keep the collisions to certain actors interacting with other certain actors and making it to where the reactions to each other are all different. All and all a good starting foundation game I hope that you and your daughter continue to improve and grow!
