Very cool game! I loved the progression of the story, and the puzzles felt really tight and well-designed although I got stumped pretty quickly. As others have mentioned, it would be nice to have the ability to hold down keys to move a bit faster. Great work all around (all the grid-based movement felt very familiar ;) )

Such a simple concept, but really quite fun! It's really easy to pick up on the controls quickly, although I had a few issues where the game would crash as soon as I lost  - and I'd have to reload the page (HTML5) to try again. Definitely a lot of fun, and it seems like there'd be a lot of opportunities to grow this to include weird gravity or different types of threats if you wanted to. Great work!

This is such a cool idea, and it feels really well flushed out. The need to balance the different choices throughout the game is really fun and engaging.

It felt strange that you could just deflect the trash - which allowed you to really rack up the points, but I kind of liked that it slowed you down a bit (it might have been a nice touch to make deflected trash collide with the alien so there was more consequence for doing it). As others have said there were a few instances where the controls felt off, but that wasn't such a big problem for me. I was a little confused about how the bombs worked, though, because there seemed to be times I could pick them up and put them down indefinitely (so they weren't on a timer), but other times if I held them too long they'd disappear but I couldn't really tell. Maybe a bit more of a visual cue about the bombs would have been helpful? Overall it was a really neat concept, and a really fun game - great job!!

This is such a neat game! I love how relaxing it is, and the interface is really nice. The animations and art style are very unique and really draw you in. I did feel like the pace of events was a bit too fast - but once I realized how to queue up actions it wasn't too bad. I was always just worried I was missing a thought process! Great job on this, it was such a unique experience!

Really fun game, and nicely polished - especially for a first game jam entry! I love the concept, it's really original and absolutely hilarious! I will say, I didn't realize that I was supposed to use the keyboard rather than the mouse the first few times I tried it - although that's a really minor complaint. Great work!!

This game was absolutely fantastic. Overall such a cohesive and well-executed concept. From the music and the increasing intensity as you make your way towards the end, to the super simple controls that still afford fun moments of surprise and challenge - you nailed it! Also loved the take on the theme, very well done! I really thought the moving ice-blocks were going to break if you stood on them for too long, I'm thankful they didn't or I'm not sure I would've made it to the end - but that could be a cool way to extend this even further!

Such an interesting idea! I liked how you'd revisit the shop to upgrade and then you'd see that next upgrade available, just teasing you - but gosh dang those birds got hard to avoid! I loved the animations, especially of the little snail friend. Definitely had lots of fun! I quite liked the 'feature' of the birds all stacking on top of one another and then flying past overhead at the speed of sound. Can't a snail just live in peace?

Such a cool game! I really loved how the music built the atmosphere, and the set of systems handling research, money, people, pollution are really tight and well thought out! Had so much fun playing. If I could offer anything constructive, it would probably be that it's difficult to navigate and be aware of the different upgrades that are available. Even a simple menu-ing system that aligns with the building options (housing/production/research) would have probably helped a bit! Overall, such a great entry - loved it!

Really cool game! I loved the visuals, and overall it was beautifully executed. Had so much fun playing! I think the only potential constructive comment is that I would have preferred the music (which is lovely) to continuously play even when changing between the worlds. Besides that, this is outstanding - amazed you could build it in just one week!

Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it! Agreed, I wish we had a little more time to spend on coming up with a larger set of puzzles to choose from - which would have made creating a more clear difficulty progression. I definitely underestimated the amount of time it would take overall, so we didn't leave enough time to really flush out some more interesting puzzle dynamics.

Thanks for the feedback and the kind words! This was a first jam for both of us, so we were just glad to get something finished! Was a little worried we had spent too much time on ideation and wouldn’t actually get it done - but we finished it up just in time!

I agree, while the undo mechanic is nice (and took a fair amount of effort to get working), it could definitely be tedious when it takes so long after making a correction.
