Really cool movement, I don't think I've played anything before with this sort of downwards wall jump.

The player character feels good to control and the art is great! I also liked the idea of playing different mini challenges to acquire items. I found the level design to be a bit disorienting, but fun to navigate.

Nice!! <3 Thanks for pushing through it!

Really unique gameplay concept! I feel that it's a bit hard to distinguish between allies and enemies in the heat of battle. Brighter colors could solve this.

Great art and presentation!!

Love this concept, I can imagine how many different things could come to life as they get colored! The "ms paint" art is actually a really good fit. With a bit more polish in the controls and more levels this could become something really special.

Tons of potential, basic movement is super fun though I couldn't get far from the starting point. The music also SLAP!s

Dashing is really fun, sort of feels like a rock band power slide.

The levels flow really well. I like that you can make some sick spins in the air.

Love the MC's sprite and animations.

A cool metroidvania, the dialogue adds a ton of charm. I specially liked the environments, the ground texture feels very lush despite the limitations. The theme is integrated really well with the power up.

The level design and mechanics are clever and fit the theme perfectly! Great game!

Great work!! I first tought it'd be just like Snakebird, but as the game progresses it gets more and more unique! like with the screen warp, disappearing blocks and the world's huge vertical structure. I just wish I could fall faster so it'd be quicker to retry when you fall

Really good use of the theme! Having to seek shelter every so often in the fire reminded me of the dark world in metroid prime 2. Great work!

The sprites and animations are superb! It also hits the nail in the controls and feel of Isaac, and the stasis ability makes it fit surprisingly well with the jam's theme of "freeze". I found the difficulty a bit too unforgiving, but great work all around.

Great work! I love that you can play the character's games. The text could have been given more space imo, but it works. The music is also neat.

The platforming feels really good once you get the hang of the walljump, and being able to warp through the borders allowed me to escape from some tight situations. The sprites and music are really cute. I feel that sometimes the huge stalactites can make it hard to tell where you can jump.

Hi, thanks for playing!

You control the animated square cursor with the arrow keys and use it to select the small cubes that block the penguin's path to the goal flag (the penguin moves independently). After a cube is selected, you can then push it away in any direction with the arrow keys.

I hope that helps if you want to give it another chance.

Very charming and easy to learn. There's a good variety of obstacles.

Nice! It felt cool discovering I could use the thigs I froze as platforms.

Neat concept, once you get the hang of it it flows really well.

Great use of the theme, I liked how some levels have unique details in the background, makes it feel like a little journey.

This is sick!! It feels, sounds and controls great. Sometimes I wished the camera was farther up to see more of the levels and not have to relly at all on memory,  but that's a very small nitpick.

The way in which the different mechanics play around your ability is outstanding! Very cunning little game with a cute presentation.
