Game looks and plays great wish the character moved a bit quicker thats all really
Others have also given me feedback on character speed. I'm going to add it first thing after this jam ends. Hopefully it wasn't a major blocker for your enjoyment, and thanks for playing.
The starting text went by a bit fast, would be nice if I could control the text lol. The art for this game is gorgeous with fantastic backgrounds, parallax, and character animations. Personally controls were a bit floaty and slow for a speed running game, not sure if I missed a controls tutorial or sprint key. Interesting concept, a nice little game to play overall. Good job!
Thanks for the feedback! I was originally going to add acceleration to this game, but I kept adding new movements and the basic acceleration was left behind
Nice aesthetics! I wish controls were a bit smoother -- most of the time I couldn't dash while in the air, and sometimes I was dashing for a much longer distance that I hopped for, missing the platform :D
Thanks for the feedback! I made it so you can only dash in mid-air if your jumping up. Once you start to fall down, you can't dash
damn i like this game, i love the animations
Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoyed it
Nice one. I had some problems with the player "wall jumping" when pressing space directly in front of a wall.
Nice atmosphere overall, and a real good fit for the theme (Reminds me a little bit of soul reaver).
Thanks for the high praise!
My intended way of wall jumping was to keep pressing the jump button to wall climb. Hope this solves your issue. Haven't heard of soul reaver before, how is it?
A game from around 25 years ago. You also had to feed on souls to survive.
The gameplay has a good feeling but maybe raise the speed of the player.
Hey, thanks for playing my game. Do you mean the overall speed or the player should accelerate over time?
This depends on you to be honest. Both are good solution.
The art and the atmosphere are amazing !!!! The platforming works but i feel you should add more tolerance with your grounding. I mean let the player jump even if he is a litle bit of the platform.
I'll keep that in mind. I lost track of time when I was making it, so I missed adding a lot of features.
Thanks for playing my game.
Thats completly normal :D
Absolutely love the art!
really cool graphics! great job with the mechanics, they are a bit tough but i'm sure if you get the hang of it it's really fun! nice game!
Hi Yutami! Glad you liked it to the point you posted 2 comments. I'm flattered ;)
Jokes aside, thanks for playing. Really appreciate you checking it out
oops sorry! I just liked it that much!! Really nice job the mechanics are fun!

Amazing graphics. When you jump on a wall you don't have control on the falling, make a little difficult to play.
Good game.
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed my game
I really like the graphic and it was fun to play
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it
The interpretation of the theme was pretty cool and original and the art was amazing, good job :)
Feedback:
The movement was great overall, my only complaint would be that the dash felt a little unresponsive (sometimes you don't know when the dash is going to end and you finish falling off the platform) and its cooldown was a bit too long in my opinion, but nice work afterall!!
Thanks for the high praise. I'm just lucky to find nice assets to match my idea. When you dash, you skid to a halt, which is why it doesn't have precision. I interpreted dashing as nitro, so I felt full control for that won't feel authentic. Hopefully it didn't make this game less enjoyable
The theme and gameplay was great! I loved the concept as well. Wall jumping felt a little weird but other than that the game was very good!
Thanks for playing! Do let me know what felt odd. This is my third game (a hatchling game dev) and first time adding controlled wall jump like this. In my first game, it was all automated
Dashing is really fun, sort of feels like a rock band power slide.
Now that you mention it. It kinda does. Thanks for playing my game and hopefully you liked it
