Very good mechanic, and the key descriptions were right on point to show the player what to do (not too obvious, not too vague)

A fun little game. Controls could have been explained, but a good implementation of controlling your enemies

Play button not working for me either.

I'm afraid your submission is broken...

It is quite hard to understand what makes the population grow or shrink, and it's not clear what the player is supposed to be doing

Can you add some detailed boot instructions?

I tried opening index.html but that doesn't work.
Is this a web-gl application maybe

although very very simple, it has a lot of potench.

better graphics, level design and just one additional mechanic would make it a nice little jam-game

There are places where you just get shot without warning, and shooting doesn't actually seem to hurt. Still, this is one of the better games, with a lot of simple but good content and an original take on the theme.

In fact, i already addressed both problems. After 10 mistakes, each wrong choice gives increasingly more penalty (should prevent you from getting 10+ seconds on the timer) and the timer is actually 20% slower than real-time (you have 1.2 seconds per puzzle).

Try double-clicking the jar

Jar is the java-version of an exe

It doesnt work if your java version is less than 8 (2016) or absent

ok, it is much deeper than i thought. But how would you make this clear to the player?

Instead of working further on this specific game, it may be better to make a new game, with a new (self made?) theme and mechanics.

It's something i learnt from a novel writing workshop: it is better to make 10 first-draft short stories than one polished book

both what was said (pronunciation and volume) as well as what was meant (probably as result of the former)

The idea is fine, and the one force gives a good challenge. However, the controls are counterintuitive at best, making it really hard to get anywhere.  The voice acting was also really hard to understand.

I do think this is one of the more original ideas in the jam,  and some features are nice. The suit power is for example a more immersive approach to prevent players from crossing world boundaries and drifting off. Maybe making it first-person would make this easier to control.

Impossible! the mechanic introduction was hard enough already, and you want me to dodge them all together?

Oh right, the review.
The looks, combination of black-white and 3D, the mechanics... it's perfect. 5/7

the "Make your own bullet hell" is really an unavoidable consequence of reaching your goal. It's interesting, as you make your own game progressively harder each time. I can see this mechanic being implemented in bigger projects, like platformers

I have no idea what the other is saying, but those kind of things usually go past me anyway.
Playability is not what i will rate on, though. Good game design overall, and a really original take on the theme

I didn't bother to find any reward for reaching a high score (i succ at fps) Adhering to the theme, it does. well executed, too

Same, only a black screen for at least a minute and no specific form of processing.

Edit: after 2 minutes, i get an error: "GameThread timed out waiting for RenderThread after 120.00 secs"

how do I start the game? It appears to be multiplayer only.

it says, "The developer has not uploaded a game yet...", but i can just download it. Did you set it as an browser playable? (because it is not).

Also, i cant run it...

Hard to understand what is going on past the tic-tac-toe. I can't rate it as i don't know what the game is...

I don't know what to do, maybe you can change your game description to what you are supposed to do?
if you can't reach your goal due to a bug or lack of implementation, mention it.

Ever heard of 'Indestructible tank' kind-of game?
This game can be transformed in "you can only jump once" where you have to keep momentum (to dodge bullets) by hitting enemies.

There is no indication how the game works (not even a game description).
Apparently, you move using the arrow keys, but can use them only once. One you complete the level, the game stops.

Do not play in fullscreen, as there is no option to exit (use Taskmanager to kill it).

The game start a bit slow, but I really like how everything is explained with mostly pictures. The idea that configuration makes the machine is quite original.

It is not particularly interesting to play, but that is not what this jam is about. It really is a good concept.

The handling feels good, although damage feedback would help. The inversion of gravity is pretty smart.

Altogether it is a pretty straightforward game. It would be interesting if you could interact with enemies, like pulling yourself towards them.
