I thought the game was cute and enjoyable. I really liked the art style and thought the music was great. The gameplay loop was simple and could see myself playing for quite some time if more content was added. My guy tried hitching a ride after pumping the cars gas sometimes and walking over to a hose would not work every time and I often had to wait for the game to decide i could put the gas pump down. Overall, it's a simple yet charming game that was pretty innovative with its mechanics and gameplay. Great job :)

This game was a blast to play. The art style was wonderful and nothing was out of place, the tutorial was definitely, and I can totally get behind the gameplay loop here. Obviously you didn't get done everything you had wanted to but this was a very good submission and it is very promising. I would look forward to playing this again if more content ever got added. There were no issues, just a lack of sound, and a need for more content. Awesome job :)
The overall playability of the game was great. It was a simple jumping game and the timed key presses were a great addition to keep it a little more interesting. I liked the idea of the facts on the side but never really had an opportunity to read them. You made great use of your time in producing polished mechanics by making the style of the game thru images rather than 3D models or handmade sprites. If anyone is continuing this project I would rethink the facts, make some soundtrack tweaks, and overall just add more replayability. Good job :)
I absolutely loved playing through this game. At first I wasn't enthused with all the text in the starting room and I found the first book in there to be too small for me (I was also playing in the browser so it may be much better as a standalone app). I really enjoyed the idea you guys had and thought it was executed very well. I liked the characters and after meeting our first friend it started making sense why we are collecting stars and made me want to collect more. I liked the little minigame that had you placing the stars to create constellations, it makes collecting them more interactable and makes the player want to see what happens after placing them all. My only two comments which I'm sure you all are aware of it the 3D environment and the movement system. I found the movement to be a little too slippery and I think it needs some tweaks for it to feel better, and obviously there isn't a a world to parkour across when it comes to most of the game. If you all continue working on this I can't wait to see the finished map, and hopefully a new mechanic or two to keep the parkour interesting.
This game was a lot of fun to play. It's clear that there are some things to be worked on but within the time of the Climate Jam I would say this is amazing. I'm not completely positive if the cooking system is quite implemented yet, but I couldn't find anything about how it works in game. Apart from the key features that I'm sure you guys are continuing to work on. I can only really recommend a tutorial as it is a pretty large world with seemingly even more in store after watching the trailer. Crossing the river was a pain, I saw a bridge in the video but I tried jumping across without it as I wasn't sure how to get a bridge. It eventually worked after spam jumping and then having my character get sent flying horizontally until hitting land on the other side, which was pretty entertaining. All in all I would say this is a solid submission and you all have shown that you can create a promising and eventually polished game :)
This game takes me back. There used to be quite a lot of really popular games like this and its addicting every time, good job. I know this simplistic look is quite common with these types of games but if you find yourself content with all the gameplay when maybe add in some visuals. Great submission tho!
I really like the idea that is trying to to be executed with this game, but something needs to be done with either the visuals or UI to make it more clear to the player. I understand how the follow cam is useful but I think it is zoomed in far too much. I wish you all goodluck though, I really like the idea and the world you have here.
This game is already very playable. There are a lot of things you can choose to do next to help make this game more and more enjoyable. It almost feels like Tetris in a weird way, where I'm trying to find the best spot for each piece. I can't wait for this game to look more and more beautiful as the sprint goes on.
This game sounds like it'll be really beautiful already. I get the idea that it's all about the atmosphere and just creating a beautiful and immersive environment. And with an interesting world, it'll help the player be so much more involved in the game and WANT to make these moral choices to see the world grow.
For as many building sims there will probably be in this climate jam, this is a really good spin on it. I like the excuse to put the player in as an actual character rather than just an omnipotent force. Having the player use power as well I fell helps keep the player more immersed and actually in the game.
