Will there be a theme or is it just about the constraints?

Really cute and fun puzzle game! My only complaints would be that the keys are a bit wonky and that sometimes collisions felt too tight. Really great job c:

Damn, it really did be like that while I was testing lol

Just wondering if there was a discord since the voting had to take place somewhere

Thank you very much, I appriciate you playing.

(You double posted your post, so I deleted the extra for you)

Thank you for the feedback. I'm glad that it wasn't too confusing

Originally there were different tools for each panel, but I ran out of time to actually implement it. I really like the art I made though, so here are all the tools c:

Really cool enviornments! The intro was super polished and I enjoyed the sound design in it.

The lack of audio outside the click effects is somewhat jarring, especially without music. My only real complaint is how slow it is to move around

Really cute game! I love the art, the robot dude was great and the intro looked cool as well

My biggest issue was with the controls. Personally, I would prefer using the 'E' key over enter;. The other improvement would be swapping items instead of needing to drop first.

I like your idea a lot, though Iwas a tad disappointed the controls went back to normal upon hand pickup (I'mjust not sure why that would be the fix there).

The art was cute and the music was fun though I got stuck on the dash level, I enjoyed playing.

Great job guys, the models look great. I especially enjoyed the wireframe of the ship. It looked pretty rad. I enjoyed the dialog a lot as well (:

I did have to fight the geometry at points to get to different locations and my camera was inside myself at one point, but I managed to finish the game.

Great work on the piano! I like the idea of this game, but I think it lacks visuals to tell the user what to do.  I'm not sure what the time limit or the hero's status is until I lose.

Music is fun and the sound effects are great. I absolutly loved when I would hit another car are it would just start rolling. I had a hard time figuring out where to go when the arrow wasn't showing and sometimes had a hard time telling which direction the arrow wanted me to go.

Super fun game! I think my main issue was with the timer. I kept thinking it said like 75 and then it would be 9 seconds. I think the font made me think the 1 was a 7.  Great job!

Yeah, I noticed that sometime, but it also didn't make any sense as the line is much smaller than a single pixel on the sprite sheet. Not really sure how I'd fix it

  • Beat all 10 levels and enjoyed them.
  • I like the tile turning mechanic, but I think a timer would've made it a lot better, maybe have the cat start moving after x amount of time so that youre forced to start at the beginning
  • The introduction of the cross tile around level 6 was cool and added a cool change!
  • The art was v cute
  • I really liked the art style for this game, specifically the background was super neat
  • The sound design was great
  • I liked the clicking dots mechanic a lot
  • Not sure if this is a me issue, but the game is super tiny and would not let me make it bigger.

Very interesting, I liked the eerieness a lot.

A setting for mouse sensitivity would help a lot. I kept turning around in full circles and confusing myself by accident. Also maybe a darkness slider.

  • Cute little puzzle game!
  • I really liked that the cat was not a player in the game.
  • The cats are so smol
  • I think that I managed to mess up the timing at a certain point and made the level unbeatable
  • Had a blast playing this.
  • I appricated the on-screen tips at the beginning.
  • The splat of the mice was very satisfying
  • Personally, I found the speed that the cat moved at to be disorenting with the amount of turning that was happening, but that may just be a me thing
  • The cat model looks amazing! ( So do the other models, I just like the cat a lot)
  • The sounds were very nice as well c:
  •  I wasn't really sure how to get the cats to leave as they all just said feed me
The intro cinematic was very pretty, but also too long.
  •  I ended up having to restart the game cause pressing space seems to break your ability to move.
  • I would have preferred an autorun feature, plus having to hold the mouse button to run was messing with the camera.

I really like your game!  You did a great job with choosing something you could get done during the period of the jam and I think that's amazing

Yeah, I ended up spending a ton of time on art for the closet/hallway, so I didn't get really flesh out the other levels like I wanted to. Thank you!

Thank you <3

Thank you so much! I had a lot more planned but the art ended up taking so much time that I had to make it short

Interesting concept. I was originally expecting each combination to do something more significantly different , but it was always fireballs. I didn't really understand until I was fighting the boss that the connections were just a quantity. I don't think which node you started with mattered. It played pretty well and was all together a good demo of an idea.

Really love the concept, there's a lot of room for growth here! Only main complaint is the controls. The space + arrow thing is a bit tricky and the "p" key is out of the way.

Thanks to the previous comments I was able to get the controls fairly quickly. I liked the art direction a lot. The eye bamboo was super rad.

Thought this was super cute! I love the old school inspirations in it. I find the plants as powerups a cute gimmick and do genuinly enjoy the puzzle element. The only big note is that the camera reminded me of horror games and were a bit wonky.

Was not expecting that ending at all, nice job!

Reminded me of games I use to play as a teen and that was really nice. I also enjoyed the protagonists complete rejection of romance (from what I played) vs the other characters blatent interest,

I was able to, though I was confused on the controls cause it seemed that the size was forcing some of the ui to overlap. It should be 1440x900

Had issues with the size of the game, without doing fullscreen I couldn't progress and even full screen I could not see all the dialog choices.

Absolutly love the theming/idea. The crunching of bones was my fav part c:

I'm really glad you enjoyed the game! Sorry about the bug and no there isn't any progress system. Are you interested in seeing it continue developed?

I did! I really did learn a lot and feel proud of the art I made

It seems the issue was specifically with running any web based game through the itch app. I was able to play if I opened it in my browser

Thank you for the detailed review. I ended up spending most of my time working on the art and didn't leave enough time for development so a lot of features are kinda wonky

Thank you. Yeah, I probably had too big a scoop when starting lol. I planned to have an actual inventory system but didn't end up finishing it in time.

Im glad the sewer monster got you lol

As for the exploit I decided to keep it, since it just made some things easier. Rather than forcing only 1 highlight. Its basically due to you being inside two area2ds at the same time.
