It's a really cool game, reminding me a lot of classics like Crazy Taxi. I just had some trouble with how fast and difficult the car is to control, but I think that was intentional and part of the game experience (a lot of pedestrians got run over, haha). It's really fun played, congratulations!
Thanks so much for giving the game a try! <3 Crazy taxi was a direct inspiration, we all played it a ton in our childhoods and this jam was a nice opportunity to make something reminiscent of that 8D The pedestrians are definitely a hazard, but running them over was also fun so we kept it chaotic hahaha

The driving mechanics are well made and the objective is clear. I think you chose the perfect song which gives it the full crazy taxi vibe! My favourite detail has to be the goofy animation when a passanger enters the car and how the other cars spaz out when you hit them.

Regarding the music, we actually had one of our devs compose all the music for the game, she makes great stuff ;P

Are you on windows or Linux and is there any error message? Otherwise it's going to be difficult to figure out 😬
It seems to be my problem, my computer is being repired and im using an old one. Anyway, a teammate played and streamed to the rest of the team so don't worry hahaha.
You know, its actually pretty fun tbh. A nice little crazy taxi clone and its really funny tbh. Good game!

Nostalgic little game, well put together, reminded me a lot of crazy taxi, but the "pissy" twist caught me off guard, had a good laugh. Good job!

Music is fun and the sound effects are great. I absolutly loved when I would hit another car are it would just start rolling. I had a hard time figuring out where to go when the arrow wasn't showing and sometimes had a hard time telling which direction the arrow wanted me to go.

I really enjoyed this! I think we took from similar inspirations, and took them wildly different directions! We were definitely inspired by Crazy Taxi and the Crazy Delivery minigame from Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth; Our goal was to emulate the chao.
I wasn't really connecting the dots between this and out of order, but a solid experience regardless.
Some player experience pieces:
The animation for the civilians entering the car was delightful
Sometimes it was difficult to navigate the map without penalties. Making a more stark contrast between road/non-road textures or doing some sort of path direction mechanic (arrow points down the road; maybe the road has an arrow on it, maybe there's a minimap, anything works here).
The controls felt very solid.

The theme is in the setting of the game (explained in the first screen after you hit play). All the toilets are *out of order* because the janitors are on strike, so you have to get people that need to go the mobile toilets around the city, which are the only ones remaining.
The other things are fair points, thank you for the feedback :)
RE: The theme; that makes sense as far as backstory, I guess I would say it just didn't come through when playing. I do UX Research for a living; and I honestly just skipped the paragraphs of text because that's what I see people do every time I observe them playing games or trying apps.
This was really fun!! Unfortunately I suck :D and I didn't manage anything but it was so fun running and killing the pedestrians (oops...) I played it a couple of times to have more fun :D

Wow! The controls are actually really good, and the driving is really fun! Not sure why I kept getting fines.. I was merely driving the taxi, and the pedestrians happened to walk on the sidewalk I was using?
I have a pretty beefy computer, so I only encountered the lag only when starting the game, so I suppose that optimization would be my only complaint. Great fun!

We did find that the pedestrians ended up as more of a hazard than anything else, but squishing them was just as fun so we left it in there xD (not counting the time running out too oopsie) :P
I thought the idea was wonderful, with this game, fun is guaranteed for anyone who wants to play. My PC is an old i3 so it was a little laggy, but nothing that stopped me from having fun, I thought this game was really great.

That was loads of fun! Crazy Taxi was one of my favorite arcade games, so this brought back fond memories! Definitely had waaay more fun wreaking havoc on the protesting citizens than delivering them to a working toilet xD

Yes! Crazy Taxi was definitively our biggest inspiration.... and ye, it's a bit of a problem how fun it is to kill people :/
Maybe if you kill too many people they should turn into a boss and come after you hahaha
We actually talked about trying to implement that, hahaha!
We were thinking about also trying to do a GTA style star system where the cops come after you if you kill too many people, but we sadly ran out of time. Maybe for the sequel! :P
Great job ! I really like the lore of this game but the thing i enjoyed the most was hitting cars and people with my car XD. Sadly my laptop is kinda old so it was a little bit laggy but still overall the game is so nice , the nerd button too ofcourse . Can't wait to play your upcoming games :)
