Thanks a lot. It's always nice to receive positive and constructive criticism. :)

Thank you! The top down art style was new to us as well as creating effects within Unity. We made the game to laptops both at 1080p resolution, so we didn't spent much time testing other resolutions, but thanks for the heads up!

Yeah, there seems to be consensus on the speed :D I'm glad you like the artstyle. I haven't worked on a top down game before.

Just the one. So I had just walked into a room, but the shadow took its time following. So I went back into the corridor to see how far behind it was. Then I got hit and I respawned in the corridor, while the shadow was in the new room. The door in-between I had previously unlocked was locked again. So the shadow could not follow because of locked door, and I couldn't go down to get the key, because I would get to far away from the shadow and die.

Very nice game mechanic. Loved the sprites of the hog.

Nice game. The spacing between the letters made it very hard to read, which is unfortunate when you have incorporated that much text. I liked the art and loved the music. :)

The representation is great. I got myself stuck by reaching a checkpoint and then dying, where the shadow and character got stuck on either side of a door. I like the balance of having to be close, but not having contact.

Thanks! good idea with scene transitions we will have to look into that.

Wow you got around alot in 48 hours. I was quite confused as to why I couldn't control the bat. Apparently the bat can only be controlled by the arrow keys and not WASD, but hey ho! The artstyle is gameplay obviously inspired by Hollow Knight. I didn't play it through but enjoyed the beginning.

We were in Denmark, so luckily the jam ended at 8 pm for us. I'll have to try out the shrinking thing.

Well done. It didn't understand at first, that you restart, if the wizards get to far from each other. Nice little puzzle :) I like the teleporting animation

The polish is quite good and the genre mix is interesting and you can definitely go in different directions with the game after the jam. I enjoyed playing it and while the gameplay loop is very short, the product has a high level of finish.

Really awesome concept. The ability to add notes is a great help. A did manage to find the lovers.

One of might first thoughts, when I heard the theme was also Cupid, but as you know we went in another direction.

May I suggest you settle on a color palate before making the sprites (you can find plenty online). That way you are almost ensured to get a result more pleasing to the eye :)

Papers please was definitely one of the inspirations for the game. Thanks for checking it out.

Nice concept! This game has potential. I can imagine later stages, where you have to shoot the depressing cloud at enemies to advance. Short but sweat. Only using few colours in the artstyle is a great idea to save time. I should probably do that next time. :D

Even though the mechanics are quite simple, I found the gameplay loop fun. Trying to see how many interest you can remember at once to get a faster time. I liked the artstyle too. :)

The change in perspective is a neat mekanic, but it seems you choose a scope to big too handle within the 48 hours.

Maybe you can start smaller next time around and then if you finish with time to spare, then you can spark it up with polish or new features. :)

Thank you for the feedback! We didn't have much time left for playtesting, so the high speed driving is left as a challenge to overcome ;)

We were a two person team, and this was our second game jam (and my second game ever). I stood for the art and music, so I'm glad you liked the artstyle.

Last year we made One Man Staff:

The music is original, but we used preexisting sound effects. Enjoy!

If you deny three people, who were not terrorists, you would have reached the riot ending.

We thought we had fixed the introduction problem, but we noticed after the jam ended that it still occurs on some computers.

Thank you for playing.

Thank you for playing and taking your time to give us feedback. :D

Awesome to hear! What were your high score?

Thank you very much. We could only really play test the game at a very late state, so we were crossing our fingers and hoped it would feel as expected.

Yeah, thanks. We didn't have time to go beyond the most basic concept, but we are planning on polishing it up after the jam has ended. It is a shame you can't tell when a passenger was falsely denied (and that you can do this twice without losing).

Also we are both fans of Papers Please, but we tried to make it different. The focus on the memory part set it apart.

Thanks :) This was my first game ever. My friend did the programming and I made the graphics and music.

I liked the idea. It was pretty tricky to read what keys to use for each minigame. Highlighting them in a different colour might help. Very fun and quite challenging.

The colour changing was very smooth. :)
