🥰 cute

Can see the mechanic being super fun. Hope you all finish this!

goofy ahh walk 💀💀👍

skeleton head soccer! Would be nice to have a different font for the tutorial text. It was really hard to read it on such small screen, or have it in the description as well.

Sweet and short, very nice. It was really hard to see the enemy coming the first time, but good that it was really easy to try again. Loved the ending, surprisingly great build up for a simple ending.

Amazing art!!! The story's build up was a tiny bit long for a jam game but the ending gave me chills non the less.

Thanks for giving it try!

Ooops thanks for catching the bug. Didn't have too much time to test the functions for the end game. Will patch that once I find a chance to!

Thanks a lot for giving a try, glad you enjoyed it!

ty for giving it a try, glad you found it interesting

I'm so upset that I found this game after rating just ended. This is for sure my favourite game of the jam! Stunning work!!! One smol suggestion is to make the timer more visible when it is close to finish. I could only peek at the timer between rounds and couldn't see it was ending soon

haha, that's a funny bug, didn't know this can still happen

Thank you so much for being so critical! We completely overlooked testing and just tried to stuff in as much feature as possible. We will take the feedback and to help our future projects

Thanks for the feedback! I agree that we should have done more for the balancing 😢, will definitely leave more time for that in future jams!

The art style is charming and well defined, and the game play is fun until too chaotic.

Suggestions: The enemies and dice roll result should be more readable. Also try to use some pathfinding system so enemy doesn't get stuck on walls.

The UI were a bit confusing to use. I see potential here, but need a lot more polish on the UX side.

tbh, I didn't enjoy the janky controls, BUT I couldn't stop trying to make the perfect dice. This might be the most creative take on the theme I've seen, and it is fairly impressive on a technical level.

Love this game so much!!! It is so aesthetic and easy to pick up. I got invested into the game really fast. The resources are so well balanced, and the dice rolls were used so well! Perhaps the best use of the dice roll mechanic I've see so far.

Presentation is clean: sound effects and graphics fits really well together. I ran into a problem where my first round had 10 balls and round 5 and 6 had 3 balls. I think it is cool to use dice to create thing in level, but it is hard to balance.

Love the mix of 2d and 3d! The art style is simple but it is goes together really well

Amazing aesthetics, wish it was easier with all the dice doing different things

Simple yet juicy mechanics, very nice! Would suggest maybe making the enemy's death state a bit more visible, like changing the sprite color darker. Right now it is not too easy to see if enemy is alive or not

Darn, you are right! completely forgot to test that 😅

I love eating yummy dice with value 12 😋

This game is a vibe that I love to death

Hi there, I couldn't open the game on the itch.io app, it shows an warning message about compression format.

Awesome atmosphere! The game has such an outstanding style through its music and art! I like the different dice related mechanic but each mechanic alone is very interesting but having to constantly changing between the gameplay systems was quite confusing.

Please try our game as well!

So much juice!!!! I can't believe how good the character feel to play. Still, I had 2 issues while playing, 1 is that my mouse cursor won't show up and I had to guess my mouse placement the whole time. 2 is that I died while I finished the level. Then the next few level didn't spawn enemies and showed the exit right away.

The art is amazing! Love the unique art style, looks really refined. Gameplay is a bit hard to get a grasp of because there are too many things from the beginning, but it works as a vertical slice.  If you add a progression system where you start with fewer characters and unlock more people as the game goes on, that would be perfect!

Please try our game as well!

Thanks for playing! Lol, the narrative was my favourite part when I came up with the game idea, so when I had 3 hours left, I knew I had to add it in.

Thanks! I think the clip of Astro Chain in the theme release trailer made me how much I love the vending machines in that game. Also really glad I was able to find an interesting sound effect for it

Thanks for the first comment! And yeah, I really wanted to make something chill and goofy for once

For anyone trying to slice this in Unity:

  • Type: Grid by cell size
  • pixel size: 80 x 64
  • offset: 16 x 36
  • padding: 32 x 69

(some cells go out of bound slightly, need to be fixed manually)

    Great asset, love it!

Oof, that's exactly how I felt when I've decided to scroll down to the comments.

    For the potential

I feel like that is the out of control part, but for an actual game that would be nice to have

Jason, Unity Procerssing (p5.js); too bored, want to make something. Good luck everyone, hope you all have fun!

Wow! 58?! My highest was 46!

Thanks for playing the game mate! Because in Processing the positive direction for y axis is downward, thus the inverted gravity so I can save a few characters writing the code XD.

    Binary search - the game

Like the simplicity and colourful texts. well done

Concept is cool but I can't live with this control

Well done for a short jam :D
