Great Job! really dig this, comically long arms is my favorite genre

Glad you liked it! We're probably going to polish it up a bit over the next few months and push it out with some more levels

lol this is a lot of fun, solid job

this is a solid little game! the tilting platforms is a fun twist, it'd be cool to randomize the lenght of some of the tilty boards and see how that effects the game. really fun!

Thanks!! I'm glad the concept is coming through at least. We just got to the point where it was playable and it was time to submit, haha.

We're planning on polishing this up and adding some more cards/levels in the next few weeks though! Hopefully we can push the idea a bit further :)

Thanks!! :)

Fun little F-Zero like! Very motion-sickness inducing when you spin out though, haha. jump button feels like it could've been utilized more in the track design. Solid though!

Something about these characters is iconic. Crazy how much mileage you're getting out of adding pupils and arms to pac man. That's a 1000 yard stare right there. Fun little 3D riff on lemmings!

Level design really elevates this!

The post-processing affects go a long way to mesh these stylistically random elements into a cohesive aesthetic, but I do wish the filters were toned back a bit. It's great for screenshots, but it's a bit hard to tell what's happening sometimes in-game. Also pretty unclear what the player is meant to be doing, some text at the beginning could've been a big help pointing in the right direction.

Awesome visuals! Controls well & the gameplay loop is solid, I think the level design could've synergized a bit more with the mechanic than it does. Could be fun if the characters froze while holding the box, so you could jump off the boxes they're holding to get to higher up areas. Really fun though!

cool idea! I think the game would've benefit from less complex level designs, particularly less vertical. I kept falling into spikes off the bottom of the screen that i couldn't see until hitting them.

I like it! the level design is really solid.

The voice acting gave me a good laugh, haha. I feel like if you told the myths you're referencing here beforehand, this would be a cool little educational experience for quizing students on greek mythology. Pretty interesting!

Movement feels solid! This is a weirdly dark game, haha. I wish the color breeding made more sense visually, I think it'd be improved if like, red+blue made purple.

Clever :) weirdly relaxing considering the mechanic.

Oh yeah, I definitely wish we could've added a couple different levels and some more cards. We just barely got the game playable as the jam was ending, haha. Glad you liked it!

nice idea! This would benefit a lot from some more feedback/clarity of when you're getting hit.

Rad idea!  good job :)

Fantastic!! This would be great as a local multiplayer game.

I dig this! if the car felt a little weightier I think this could be a solid little arcade experience.

Nice aesthetic! the audio/visuals go a long way here.

Really like the color pallet /art direction! Super solid visuals.

Cool entry! could see this being a fun mobile game really easily :)

Thanks man! Super nice of you to say, I'm glad you enjoyed it! :) I'm lookin at this Bullet pilot and I LOVE the model for the assistant, it's genuinely super fun to look at, reminds me of Katamari.  I will have to give it a go :)

Clever concept! Kind of like a nihilist/macabre captain toad :) Some of the levels are long enough that a checkpoint system/undo que could've helped ease the frustration of exploding, maybe just a slower death sequence would help? Regardless this is really polished and fun, really impressive jam game.

Yeah I had a hard time balancing the amount of bullets to give the player/ didn't create any sort of health/death system so it came out a pretty casual experience.  I think if I had more time, I'd make some sort of system that spawns an adaptive ammount of bullets based on the player's skill level. It'd be interesting to see what this would be like if it tested the player's skill a bit more for sure!

Thanks! :) I'm more of an art person than a programmer for sure

Thanks! I appreciate it :)

Thanks! :) I haven't heard of that one but I love a good 90's PC shooter and it looks very up my alley

Thanks Devon, I'm glad you liked it! :) Not sure if I'll revisit this idea yet, but I did have a handful of ideas I didn't get to implement during the jam so there's for sure room to expand.

Oh that's really cool, I didn't know that! Might have to play around with that sometime :)

This was fun! Not sure how you got this on the steam servers but I played a full round with my buddy and we had a good time, I'd love to see how the dynamics change with more than 2 people, it's a really fun mechanic.

Haha we have the exact same premise for this jam, it's neat to compare the design choices we both made and how drastically different the games are because of it. Very starfox-ish design, it could've been cool if your driver mode was more of a drifting mechanic where you don't limit it and just get to have a mariokart style drift, it.  Good job though, i played through to the end and it was a good time :)

This is a fun idea! I love the design choice to leave the fire extinguisher where you drop it, it's fun to frantically search for it. if there were a few more tools you needed to use I could see this being a really fun co-op experience in a larger build :)

This is a clever little idea! I think the pace could be picked up a bit, it's kind of like a clicker game that's designed to give you anxiety instead of positive reinforcement which is a cool use of really minimal mechanical storytelling. I like it :)

Nice arcade style game! The art style is a lot of fun and the leaves rotating does a lot more heavy lifting than you'd expect level-design wise.

Really nice work! Nice execution of the idea, my favorite bit is the puzzle where you have to Scribble a bit to fit in the hole, that was a very clever use of the mechanic :)
