I was stuck waaaaaaaay too long in the first level, because I didn't figure out you could scale the cubes. there was just this little bit of height missing to make the jump, so I tried angling the cubes and all sorts. but it was a bit frustrating to keep getting hung up when jumping against ledges, and not being able to jump when standing on an incline.
In the end i got till the level with the cube behind two lasers in the middle path. there just wasn't enough time for me to make it :(
All in all impressive level design for only 48h, but a screen at the beginning to explain the controls would have helped me a lot.
PS: and the cubes kept tipping through the walls for me and getting lost.

yeah, I thing there is still some work needed here :)
having two guns is a nice vision, but a lot of minor things are bugging (getting hung up on ledges, screen transition, esp. to the left, etc)
and teaching new mechanics while being in the middle of a jump after a screen transition ist just pure evil. there wasn't even a way up again, right? so I had to restart the game. In the end I managed to get to the boss by sliding around in the pit offscreen …
PS: why does the blue bullet have 'bullet drop', and the red one doesn't?
yaaay, cake! very simple concept, but not too much for a GameJam.
I loved the realistic physics of not being able to accelerate while in the air. but fortunately I could still stop sprinting, otherwise I would not been able to make those tricky jumps in the end. I nearly quit there.
PS: when pressing both arrow keys at the same time and releasing one, the character moves without the walking animation :)
wow, that is a lot of level design for a game jam. just add a few portals, and you could call this a finished game, right?
I made it all the way through, and found two batteries. are these hidden collectibles? and I only got stuck a few times (to be expected), but the respawn button worked well. the games even saved my progress when restarting, kudos!
PS: where do I know this texture from?
I think this one needs a bit more development.
the concept of different sizes for different enemies is promising, so you have to use your power up / downs strategically, but I couldn't really get it to work and just died to them over and over again. what exactly is my power supposed to do? is it a projectile?
This looks like a game of passion. I loved the music, and there seems to be a lot of content to expand.
But sadly I couldn't figure out how to defeat the enemies. I was able to build two towers, but clicking them, their buttons or the enemy wouldn't couse a reaction.
Maybe add a tutorial, or an explanation screen at the beginning?
And I was a bit sad when the music run out :(
I managed to get 18.500$, but got only Rank D? what a steal …
very fast paced game, but it's more then enough for a Jam. I think the explanation when entering could be a bit longer, I was not able to read it in time. And maybe a short hint about the controls at the beginning?
In the end a very well roundet game.
PS: I got a graphics warning when starting the game, but I worked well.
a hand drawn artstyle is always a plus in my book. the character is really cute :)
I think the game could use some polishing, though. there is a lot of information in the beginning, and I managed to figure out how to harvest, sell, and order new things. but needing to hold the mouse button to carry things was very confusing. also my sword emits some kind of wave? I was able to hit the slimes, but they only got smaller and never really died. In general a promising concept.
yeah, no need to talk about the UI I think :)
also always a nice touch to record your own origininal soundtrack.
as of gameplay, the dynamics and physics played out nicely. I would have liked to have different keys for the size though, it was kinda hard to steer and resize at the same time. but fun entry!
I really like the music.
the jumping feels a bit weird, as the character doesn't stop moving mid air.
being able to use the arrow keys, or remap the controls would be nice too.
and sometimes I could walk on the second sawblade / I got stuck when I tried to grow in a limitid space by the button.
all in all enjoyed it. works well in wine under linux.
