My high-score was 6530! This was a pretty fun and entertaining game. It was also quite polished. Couldn’t catch any bug or anything that looked off, so props for that!

Thank youuu! :)

What a clever and funny idea! I found the game to be a little hard to play, mainly because of the timer, and also because the scales kept landing on their sides and it was hard to rotate them. But it was pretty fun :)

Thank you! We are definitely planning to expand on the ideas after the jam. Glad you found the gameplay satisfying :)

Absolutely loved this entry! It was fun to play, polished, and clever. The puzzles were also well designed. Really, I can’t think of anything to suggest. Had a blast!

Hey, not the developer, but you could actually jump with the space bar!

Hey, thank you for your comments and the suggestions! I agree there is definitely a lot of unexplored possibilities with this concept c:

Thank youuuuu! So glad you enjoyed it! The difficulty seems to be a common topic among everyone who played it, so you’re not alone, hahaha. We’ll definitely adjust that after the jam to make it reasonable! But it is great that you wanted to keep playing nevertheless :)

This game looks so goooood! For real, it’s really beautiful. I love the sound design behind it, too. The gameplay is fine and really polished. Such a good entry for the jam. Good job!

The amount of work put into this game is commendable! I was particularly grateful of the sound effects whenever you grabbed something, thank you very much. It was a nice touch that really contributes to the gameplay! I really liked the idea.

I felt that perhaps changing the hands wasn’t absolutely necessary, as you can’t easily tell which one you’ll need. I had to go back once because I needed the hand I had changed before. Also, being able to zoom out would have helped quite a bit, but perhaps that was intentionally left out.

The graphics are great, and the controls are really well explained!

It’s a game about scaling, as in climbing!

I totally get it! The very same thing happened to our game, hahahaha. Playtesting is key, and that’s something I also take from this jam.

And yeaaaah, thank you! I was so happy about the stream, hahahaha. I unfortunately couldn’t catch it while it was live because I was working ;_;

This was a quite fun game! My highest score was about 560k. I believe that the enemies were too difficult to shoot at! I realized that you were supposed to get to certain places to be able to shoot them, but then the elevator moved too quickly and I felt that in the end it was too risky to move away from it for long. Or, you know, maybe I just wasn’t as good as I should’ve been to play it, hahaha. Either way, it was fun!

Heyyy probably not a skill issue, hahaha! Several people found it way to hard, so I’d say it’s more of a design problem. Thanks for giving it a go! c:

Thank youuuu so much! My brother and I both loved your game as well. We are hoping to add more scales and stuff after the jam, so I hope you stick around <3

Thank you! I definitely agree. I believe that the main concepts of rogue-like games would work well alongside the main idea behind our game :)

This was such an enjoyable game! For some reason my character slid when I punched sometimes, and I didn’t realize you could also kick. But I could beat the game nevertheless, and it was a fun ride!

Woaaaah, the amount of detail for the artworks in this game is unbelievable! I loved it. My GF and I didn’t quite understand how to play at the beginning, as for some reason we thought you could move the characters around. But once we realized you could only use the potions, we had a lot of fun! Really liked this one.

PD: We found a weird bug where a medium potion was added when we had the small one selected, and vice versa. But it was definitely a minor detail. Looking forward to the boss if you ever continue with the game! <3

Heyyy thank you, glad you liked it! There are definitely tons of things to explore further, and we did have some similar ideas, but we were running out of time and couldn’t add them in the end. We are hoping to expand on this little game after the jam!

This game was absolutely astonishing! The art style is beautiful and fitting, the game’s main mechanic is really well thought and it works great. The music is nice and it’s also a surprisingly long game for a jam. You even included an introduction and everything! It’s an amazing job what you guys did with this game. Congrats!

Probably the only thing that was a bit annoying was that the button you used to open the build mode wasn’t the same one you used to close it. I intuitively tried to do that every single time I was in that mode. I also struggled to find the jump button at first, as I (again, intuitively) tried with the space bar first, and ultimately found out you could use the J by pressing the buttons in my keyboard one by one. Moreover, the enter button didn’t allow me to continue with the game after the intro, and I could only find out about the skipping feature after reading the comments, which isn’t ideal. Lastly, when you are in front of a sign, you can still enter build mode, which can be confusing if you did it accidentally and the sign is covering the character. You can’t move and it’s not easy to pinpoint why.

All in all though, those things about the controls are just a tiny thing compared to how awesome the game is. But I thought you might appreciate the feedback! Keep up the good work!

No worries! It was all completely fair and valid feedback, so we didn’t take it badly at all. It’s extremely helpful to get comments like yours. Also, I’ve just finished your game and can now tell what you meant with “juice” when talking about the art style, hahaha. We are definitely not there in terms of pixel-art skills, but hopefully we’ll be able to improve on that. Again, thanks for the comments <3

The art was so cuteeeeee! I loved both the artworks and the little tune. Had a hard time playing though. Managed to make the pizza, put it in the oven and then I had no idea what to do next. I waited for the little timer to go off, but nothing happened when it did. Then, I read the comments and found out you could actually deliver the pizza if you used your scroll wheel for some reason. I did that, delivered it, got a perfect score and then no new orders arrived.

Loved the design and how you managed to keep the rhythm throught the game! Even if you press space way off beat, it seamlessly keeps the scaling in the correct tempo afterwards (of course I tried to break that once I realised, to no avail). I also love how your take on the theme technically hits two different interpretations, as in musical and fish scales! I unfortunately couldn’t get pass the third level, but I did manage to see the pipes which allowed me to listen to more of the excellent music. What a deep beat!

We’ve been told the game is quite hard at the beginning, so if you think you suck at it, it’s probably our fault, hahahaha. Thanks for playing! c:

Thanks youuuu! Woaaaah 6 figures is such a good job! We don’t keep the scores, but the highests we’ve been shown were six figures too, so it’s safe to say you are amongst the higher scorers of the game c:

Hey, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, definitely spamming the click shouldn’t be necessary nor a good strategy. Well do something about it after the jam. And there needs to be some sort of difficulty increase as the game progresses too, as it is true that enemies are quite tough to kill at the beginning. Lots of room for improvements. Hope you stick around to see those changes down the road :)

Yessss the pentatonic was in genereal believed to be overpowered, but its my favourite too! Great score! Surely well do something about the finger thing in the future, lol. Thanks for playing!

Hahahaha glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, the thing about the finger has been brought up a lot. Will surely do something about it after the jam! And we also have a lot of ideas planned becase we also think that we left so much unexplored! Thanks for dropping by and for the feedback c:

Hahaha thanks! Made in Bera City

Heyyy I really liked your game, so I am glad you enjoyed ours as well! c:

What a creative take on the theme! Really liked how it plays and how it looks.

I had tons of fun playing this. Well done!

The idea is amazing, and the execution is spotless. Can’t believe you managed to make this in 48 hours! Congrats on such a very good job!

Love the ideassss! Thank you for the comments. Yes, there is definitely loads of things we could have added to the game. We had to reduce the scope a little bit so as to make it to the deadline, but we also had some similar ideas that unfortunately had to go unexplored. Hopefully we’ll get to expand, fix and balance the game after the jam!

The pentatonic is definitely too OP 😂

I wasn’t sure what I was going to find in this game and was definitely surprised, for good. Everything is so weird and I love it for it! One of the most creative games I played today. The contrast between the different scenes was unexpected and really fun. Good job with this one!

Hahahaha yeah, definitely something we should look into. Perhaps making the scales something to pick up wasn’t the right choice

Thank youuuuu! Glad you you found it original. My brother and I really enjoyed your game c:

I absolutely loved this one! The little story, the sounds, the graphics, I enjoyed everything. I initially didn’t check the “about” section, not realising it was the tutorial, and was quite confused when I played. But after opening it, everything was clear. Awesome job!

Loved the art style, and the games is really polished! It looks and works perfectly. Not a big fan of doing maths in games though, so in that regard I couldn’t enjoy it as much as I wanted to. But I loved everything else!

Loved the idea and had a lot of fun playing this! However, the game seriously need some explanation about the controls. I lost several times with only one bacteria before I realised you had to right click it to separate it. I thought I had to make it bigger until it divided itself. Excluding that though, it was a nice game c:
