I really like the concept, the music, the style and the fact that it's a fake os haha. The moust controls are a bit uncomfortable unfortunately. I think if you would add more things that an option to use the arrow keys or wasd would be amazing. And that you only could scale in one direction at a time ofcourse. I guess you would need a forward and backward button and then the four directions.
With that in mind I do see a nice little game here, I love realistic artstyles in the sense of digital environments. Gives me windowkill or animated stickfight battle vibes :)
Great job for the time frame!
thank you! yes, windowkill is actually quite similar :P thank you for the feedback, ill make sure to keep it in mind for my future games :)
Love the styling, and this is a really creative idea. I think the controls are a little difficult, but a great idea.
thank you! yea, the controls are a bit difficult, ill try to keep difficulty in mind next time around :)
Really interesting and surprisingly engaging game! The controls are tricky but that's definitely part of the charm! Great job <3
thank you! yea, the controls are a little difficult :P thanks again for the feedback :)
I'm actually quite surprised at how unique the gameplay is! It's pretty difficult, but fun when you get the hang of it. BBB always delivers 🔥
thank you! yea its a little difficult at the begenning :P
Great work with this! I think it is a very interesting take on the theme and I found myself saying "one more try all the time".
Great visuals and I love the chill music to go with it too.
I definitely will have to practice to get better though as it starts to get quite tricky.
Great job!
thank you! ye the difficulty is quite high... ill keep the feedback in mind for next time :D
Very unique idea! It was super challenging having to resize both sides to move, which made me sad but also made it feel well balanced. It would probably be too easy otherwise. I also love that you changed your game's noun lol.
thank you! yeah i shouldve added a difficulty setting to make it more accessible :P thanks for the feedback, ill keep it in mind for next time :) (ye this is like the only time ive changed it lol)
One of my favs this jam!
glad it is :)
I like how the game looks quite a bit.
lol thanks :))
Lovely visuals and really simple yet creative idea. I feel like I'll have to get much more precise with my mouse maneuvering to get good at this game, lol
thank you! yes, i should've added a difficulty setting :P i might do that once the jam ends... thanks for the feedback tho :D
The difficulty is probably good-- I'm just playing with a trackpad LMAO
With your discord post in review my game, I have seen a os with a game. https://cyclonekitten.itch.io/fire-os. Made it around a month ago.
lol very nice. honestly, here at bigbouncystudios, we've got some work to do lol 😀
Very simple, yet well put together idea! It always catches me by surprise seeing fellow Scratchers in this jam lol.
thank you! ye lol i kinda moved on from scratch and decided to start making "real" (bigger better) games :P
This is so creative! I really love the idea, but as you have already said making it easier at the start could help a lot. I think especially the grey windows that come later get so big it is hard to dodge when there are other things on the screen as well. Also it was hard to understand what to do at the beginning, I think it wasn't clear to me what the white/black/red windows were at first. Super cool idea though good job!
thank you! i will definetly keep all this in mind for my next game, thank you very much for the feedback :D
The scaling limit messed with me a couple of times. You can probably add some kind of indicator to show how small you can make a window. I really enjoyed playing you game though!
thank you! yeah, that would have probably been a good idea... thanks for the feedback :)
Nice idea and fun that you could only scale it to some extend, so ended up scaling from both sides like crazy, I like how it made for some unique gameplay. Bit hard to grasp how to play as game starts quite hard, but idea and theme were on point, great job :)
thank you! yeah i should have added a difficulty setting, ill keep that in mind for the future :)
love the style, very creative take on the theme
thank you! :D
Very unique concept, but I think a little too difficult for me since I'm not that skilled with my mouse
thank you! yea, i should have added a difficulty setting (that would've made it much more accesible and 10x better)... thanks for the feedback though, ill keep it in mind for the future :D
I give you full marks for creativity.
thank you lol :D
Great Idea and a very fun concept. Quite difficult when you dont have coordinated mouse movement though haha
thanks lol its probably just the difficulty of the game, i shouldve added some sort of setting in the settings window :P thanks for the feedback, ill keep it in mind for my future games :))
Very cool idea and visuals, loved it. Only thing i would say is moving the window is a bit difficult, and very little time to react to enemies falling from above. Otherwise great entry!
thank you! ye, i realized that the game is quite difficult... ill keep the feedback in mind for next time :D
Very unique idea, playing with windows. its slightly difficult though.
thanks! yeah i should've added some sort of difficulty setting (or just toned it down for the default one) :P thanks for the feedback tho, ill keep in mind for next time :)
