Hey, thanks for doing this! Here is our game https://maroon-seal.itch.io/robowreckers

We'll check out your game asap, it looks great :P

We are very glad you enjoyed the game! Thank you! I spent a lot of time on the audio so I'm glad you liked it :)

We are glad you enjoyed it! The grey cassette is the last level so congrats for getting that far. We are tinkering with the difficulty curve for a post-jam version which should mean a few more people can get to the end. Thank you for your feedback :)

Thank you so much! We are going to release a post-jam version that rounds out the story and adds some more polish, so keep an eye out if you're interested :)

Thank you so much! We originally wanted there to be an overarching story but we were limited due to time. We are hoping to expand on the story in a future update :) Right now, we're focusing on adding an ending instead of it just looping the last tape. We will add your game to our list of games to rate!

We're glad you liked it! Could you elaborate (if you have time of course!) on how you weren't sure what to do at the beginning? We are making a new version of the game and want to make sure everything is as clear as possible! Thank you for your feedback :)

Cool game! It's a nice simple platformer that you have added a lot of interesting things to. Maybe in a post-jam version, you could implement the option to skip the intro just because it's a little bit long and on a second playthrough it would be nice to be able to get back to the gameplay faster.  Overall, nice submission :)

This is such a fun and polished game! I really liked the idea that you're aiming to be as slow as possible first so you can over take yourself. All the mechanics were easily communicated and the difficulty curve was well thought out! Great job, hope you're able to keep working on it after the jam :)

Wow this game reminds me of the old flash games I used to play when I was younger! Great job making all this by yourself in a week :) I hope you're able to write more about John and his adventures!

Thanks so much! We really enjoyed your game too :D

Thank you so much for rating and playing! Most of the voices are ours, but we got a couple of our mates to voice act too. :)

Nice game! I really enjoyed the art and sound, very impressive that you made all this in a week! I did feel like the rewind mechanic wasn't necessary because the enemy positions looped, but the fact that you are playing a cute lil ghost that teleports and kills people is fun! Hope you keep working on this after the jam :)

Fun game! I really liked the core mechanic of this game and the fact that in the "blind" section of each level, the blocks you touch appear. The difficulty curve is also really nice and helps teach the player each mechanic without eliminating any challenge. My one bit of feedback would be to refine the players movement, providing coyote time and overall making the player feel like they have more control. Aside from that, this is a really strong entry! Hope you find this feedback useful :)

I enjoyed the challenge of this game. Jumping off platforms felt a bit unforgiving at times, you could change this by adding some coyote time in a post-jam version. I only realised I wasn't meant to be collecting the screws until after getting the key when I read the description. You could tint the screws red when you're not supposed to collect them or provide another visual indicator to communicate this to the player better. Overall, fun game! Hope you are able to keep working on it after the jam and this feedback was useful :)

I really enjoyed this game! Love a walking simulator ngl. It had such a great vibe and I managed to collect everything (I think!) I like how you are rewarded for exploring the island with the sticker. I hope you keep working on this after the jam!

After figuring out how this works, I enjoyed it! I think the idea of clicking and having a time limit is pretty cool, you could expand on that by having multiple workers with different strengths. This would mean that the player would have to strategise and divide up their time effectively. My main feedback would be that there should be more visual cues to show the player what to click on and just generally teach the player how to play. Overall, I enjoyed my time with this once I figured out how to play :)

Thanks so much for playing! It's interesting that you played it more like a podcast. That's not something we anticipated but it makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the feedback, we are glad you enjoyed it :)

Woahh I gave this game 5/5 for everything! It's so polished and I really love the style, the art, the sense of humour and my new favourite show, Totally Normal Tortoises :) The hectic nature and the very well executed difficulty curve made it hard for me to stop playing. The theme of working for a shady company and going through tapes is similar to ours. I like the direction you took it in :) Hope you keep working on it after the jam!

I really liked the aesthetic and the music! I'm impressed you made it during the jam. I had some issues running the game in webgl like the music not starting unless I rewound it and it was a bit laggy.  In a post-jam version, it might be useful to the player to have a tutorial level at the beginning to get to grips with the core mechanics and how different sections of the music do more damage (which I thought was really cool!). Hope you're able to continue working on this, it was pretty fun!

I'm not sure how I was double jumping, I haven't been able to replicate it. It happened when I spammed the space bar whilst in the air. It might have been coyote time? Not sure! It happened on the second level, I don't think I got as far as the clouds.

This is pretty good game for less than 48 hours! I enjoyed the challenge but I think the difficulty curve is a bit steep. Maybe have a couple of easier levels at the beginner to get the player used to the controls. Still fits the theme really well and is a good concept! I hope you keep working on it after the jam :)

I really enjoyed this game! I love the story and the art and the sound, very impressive for a week. Like most others, I did get lost a lot and didn't know what I was doing but I'm pleased to hear you're adding a mini-map and quest tracker because despite being lost, I still wanted to keep playing! Looking forward to the post-jam updates :)

I had a lot of fun playing this game! It's super impressive you made this all by yourself! It took me a while to get to grips with the controls as I didn't realise you could double jump or what the green platforms did. You could write about this in the description or make it clearer in a post-jam version but I still got to grips with it after jumping about for a couple of minutes. Overall, nice submission :D
