Interesting submission. Very dark, like a dream.

Really fun game that takes you through the stars. I don't know how you made space warp in that tubular way, but that was very cool. Didn't work too well in the browser (kinda like my game), but downloading it was smooth as silk. Thanks for sharing this!

Looks great! Sounds great! I also made a hamburger themed game! I couldn't figure out how to build burgers. The ogres kept grabbing my ingredients. That said, I think there's something here and I really like everything I see. I'll be following for updates.

This was great!!! I also made a Last Hamburger Stand game. I like the recipe building. The graphics are great too! Gameplay is fun, but I'd like a little more time to build burgers -- it gets stressful so fast! Also, I don't know how to get a Michelin star. I went as fast as I could and no star! Maybe it's impossible with a burger joint. Is that the message here? Nice work and thanks for sharing.

This game looks great. You put the assets together in a really beautiful way. I really liked reading about your progress as a game dev. I've been on the same road with Unity, banging away at C# for the last year and a half. I think you did excellent work here. Some things are a little wonky, like some movement and combat, but for ten days of work, this is amazing!

This was excellent. My favorite game so far. Good gameplay. Addictive. I couldn't always figure out how to make the upgrades work. By the way, thanks for letting us all know about Kenney assets. Wow, I wish I'd known about them sooner! Thanks for sharing this!

This was a really fun tower defense game perfectly integrating the theme of the contest. I also made a food themed game and the name is a lot like yours. Mine is "The Last Hamburger Stand." Check it out. Great work on this!!!

Nice shooter in an old west styled place. I think the mouse needs to be less jumpy, but besides that this was pretty cool. Nice work!

This was one of my favorite games so far. A bit of a bullet hell mixed with a transformation mechanic. Funny story, funny graphics, and cool gameplay. Nice work!

Wow! Really great art. I'm not sure I got the hang of how to use the controls, but I like where you're going with this. Good use of the theme!!! If you can, give my game a try!

Fun to play rhythm game with beautiful design. Well done! Hopefully you have time to give my game a shot!

Yeah, I'm learning that people need easy levels in this game jam. I've had way to many people bounce off level 4 when I have 12 levels.

This was pretty hilarious, especially when goat guy turns and looks at the camera and says, "A life in TWO DIMENSIONS!" Well done!

Mechanics were pretty good once I figured out that I had to hold the mouse button down to power up my arrow. I really enjoyed this. Good approach to the game jam theme.

Game has a high difficulty and it's hard to pass the first level let alone the second, but still thoroughly enjoyed this. Thanks for sharing!

You're absolutely right. In a perfect world (more than 10 days!), each mechanic would be introduced over the course of 5-10 levels before a new mechanic was implemented. Oh well. Fun jam! I'll check out your game.

Well, that means a lot coming from you.  Your game was incredible

thanks! I'll check out your game tomorrow

Really like the music and the gameplay idea. Looks like a riff on the GameDev mobile game tutorial game, which I made as well! But, you've added that nice menu. I think with some polish there's an interesting thing going on here, and I can see this sucking people in on mobile. Keep up the great work!

Oh, and the music is great.

Really cool looking retro platformer. With some work I can see this being pretty cool, especially those transitions between dimensions. One issue I had is that when I fell in the hole the game kept playing... Other than that, I like where this is going. Nice work!!!

Really fun space game that uses elements of Vampire survivors' passive shooting, plus an asteroids-neon aesthetic. This does, as other people mentioned, feel like a full game, something on its way to being completed and enjoyed. I think there are some minor tweaks that need addressing, such as the sluggish movement. Yes, the movement gets better as you upgrade, but I think a little crispness in turning, or a reversing mechanic, would be cool.

I love the UI and images, but I think they could use a little text to help the user know exactly what they're clicking. And, the health and experience bars are nearly hidden in the shadows.

Those are just nitpicks. This is a great game!

I finally added a tip to help you all with level 4 -- that's my hotfix. I hope that's staying within the rules. No gameplay changes!

I couldn't quite figure out how to make it to the 3d area, but enjoyed hopping around in the 2d space. You might want to give a little instruction page on which controls to use. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful game that evokes an old school title like Ultima-Pagan. As others have mentioned, the mechanics and gameplay suit the theme of this jam to a tee.

How did you get the graphics to look so cool and old school, but also beautiful? I was really impressed by the visuals. I'll definitely be following your work.

Excellent game. Thanks for sharing!

I'll try again! I'm using Chrome. Maybe I'll try Firefox

Very simple yet pleasant game. You kept this short and sweet, and most importantly, you gave us a complete experience. The dynamic of shifting from one side of the house to the next is a great interpretation of the theme and a nice surprise. I can see this expanding with some puzzle mechanics. Well done!

Funny looking cube and good concept. Music works and I like the story. The controls and shift to 2D need a little polish, but I had fun with what you've shared. Thanks!

This looks so cool. For some reason keyboard controls are not working for me. I'll come back tomorrow and give this another shot. Looks and sounds fantastic!

Really fun concept. I like the mechanics of the sticking and swinging. The swinging feels like you can cheat a little, which is okay -- I like to break a game. Also, good look to the game and great music. Nicely done and thanks for sharing!

Very simple yet fun. Good aesthetics and I think the concept is really fun. I'm particularly fond of the color palette. Thanks for sharing!

5 stars all around. Tower defense is always a winner for me. You have just enough mechanics to make this a pleasant game, but nothing overcomplicated. I could only get to 22 rounds, but I'll come back to this and try to break that personal record. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful (and artful ) game!

Very cute. Great music. Got a glitch where I put the box in a place I couldn't use it and forced to stop. I really like the light mechanics. Nice work! And, thanks for sharing.

Took me a while to figure out the controls, but once I did I found this very responsive and fun. I get the feeling this was designed for a controller and not keyboard. Art was cool and gameplay has a nice puzzley platformy hook. Great work!

Very cool use of the theme. Reminded me of Fez and also another game with the twisted world mechanic that I can't remember the name. Very satisfying gameplay. I'd like to try this again, but with the character and twist mechanic sped up. Also less time. I know that would make the gameplay last way shorter, but I think it would be more effective. Anyway, excellent work!

Wow, very short but effective. Like, almost comically short. I killed that one wraith, then game over? Or maybe the screen got stuck. Either way, this was an effective little battler that could be built upon. Nice work!

Pretty fun. Reminded me of old PC games that had you simulate organisms with ASCII. This feels like more of a science project than an outright game, but it was fun to fiddle with. Thanks for sharing!

Very creative and cute graphics. Not super tricky, but does get difficult. I like the way you implemented the theme, and unlike a lot of other games -- mine included -- you let the player have it easy to start before making things more challenging. Thanks for sharing your work!

For your free course,  consider GameDevTV's RPG combat course,  which covers AI, navmesh, and patrol behavior.  It's really helpful!

Fun, short game. Nice little adventure with a few neat quests. Good story. Nice work!

Great idea to switch dimensions. Unlike some of the other games I've played where there is a dimension shift, this game was easy to understand and implement. I found the gun to be a little hard to aim, but that's probably just me. Nice work!
