The main game mechanic is great! A good start to make good puzzles! The idea feels very unique, and fun! Also the art is really good! Loved this game!

I liked your game and idea.Loved the effect and sound of your game.Rated it!

I have similar feedback that others gave. Loved the effect over the characters as well as the effect when there were items in the parallel dimension. Really liked how there were two worlds similar in landscape, but drastically different looks. I liked the effect of the voice -- it still would have been helpful to hear it a little more and or read the text. This is definitely a game that could become something bigger.

This game is really cute! I really liked the premise of it, and the voicing was a really nice touch! I also really liked both the energy + pulling things close to you mechanics, but I would have liked to see maybe an initial prompt as a tutorial because I had no idea how it worked, at first! Still, the idea is really nice, and I thought the Manifest ability was super interesting as well. I feel like a lot could be expanded upon it too, if you guys so choose to continue onwards with the game~

As a small aside, yes, over-scoping is indeed a thing in game jams such as this, but regardless, I very much enjoyed what you two created and can very easily see what you had envisioned! Overall, despite the time constraints, I'd say the final product is a job very well done! ^^

Thank you for the great comments. I do wish I could have introduced the pull mechanic a bit better. It definately needs an effect to let you know that it was turned on. I appreciate the great feedback.

Very cool game with a lot of potential! Needs a bit more introduction in the beginning though.

I really like the game idea and I like game it's fun to play and the game looks nice and polished it is rich with visuals and they are making the game pop. I like the voice acting of the main character they really suit with the character's looks, good job guys and I kike the portal visual that stands out, the main thing I didn't like in this game is the music, it didn't make me feel like I am in the game other than the game is good and I have downloaded the ex file so that I can play it more. good job guys.

I like the idea behind it. Seeing in the other world and collecting the right form of energy to progress. But I didn't figure out the second level, actually. I tried to progress through the veils, but couldn't. In the second run the character, who changed my energy to a blue kind of energy even fell down and died. And I was stuck even more.

So a more clear guide for the start would be great and a possibility to reload the current level, in case some got stuck like me.

I liked the art very much and the music/sounds. It all fit together, very well. Some of the edges were cut of at the bottom. But that is just a minor complain.

Hope you continue to work on it, because I see great potential in it. Want to play it further! Great job you two!

Thank You, yes there should be a replay button that is a good catch. There are situations where you scare them off the ledge it was intended for harder levels. I just never got that far. The second level became a catch all for all the mechanics I needed to show so it is definitely harder then it should be. Thanks for playing my game and all the nice feedback.

Really cool use of AI art and neat FX. It's fun seeing that bubble open up showing the other world, and I liked the addition of those blurbs that explain what's happening in the beginning.

Really cool and fun game!

Lovely aesthetics! I think this could really be something! Great use of midjourney! I loved the little voice hints too :D

The idea is interesting, showing the other world pressing shift was a nice touch, and the visuals are pretty good as well. I think the concept needs to be simplified or needs a bit more learning curve; it took me awhile to understand what to do, but still, it has great potential. Good job! :D

The game looks gorgeous. The idea of seeing a different image from another dimension on a circle around the character is really well implemented. I like you how interacted with other assets in this game. Well done :)

I like the graphics, character designs, and the control of the character, but I wasn't able to understand the mechanics. I think a proper tutorial would help, because I wanted to continue going, but I wasn't sure what each system did.

I like the graphics and the effects and its seems like you're going for a novel concept but unfortunately I just couldn't quite figure out the mechanics. I may have been having some keyboard issues as my input didn't always seem to register, I'm also on Chrome, but I'm not really sure.

Developer

The character flies when he has energy. He uses energy to fly. So you have to stand on the ground a second before you can get of the ground for a prolonged time. Not sure if that is the Keyboard issue. I have noticed in a couple of games I had to go into full screen mode to have keyboard register keystrokes properly or the browser kept trapping them. So maybe that is what is happening to you. Thank You for trying out my game.

The game looks nice. The in-game narration/tutorial is nice. The game would still benefit from an actual tutorial though. The concept is very interesting. Have potential for very good puzzle levels. The control felt nice once you got it down.

Good job on the game. Keep up the great work.

I think this was a very solid submission! The artwork was great, the game mechanics itself was a really great idea and worked well. Maybe I had some issues at some parts, figuring out which powers I had and how to use them, maybe tutorial level for that would work (especially with different powers).

The narration was good, but sometimes I missed what he said and then I didn't really know what to do. End of the final level that I get the power to go through the other doors, it took me a while to understand what I was supposed to do.

I feel like this is the kind of game that with polishing and more work could actually become a full on game that you could sell on Steam. Start a devlog on youtube or something to get people interested and sooner than you know you'll have a game selling on Steam! :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing my game and the strong encouragement. The narration and blurbs were a fix I added so they were quick and dirty. I do think a tutorial that is better thought out would help a lot. A game selling on Steam would be awesome!

Thank you again trying out my Game, I really liked yours! You should make it a full game sometime!

I really wanted to play more of it it's a pity the time was so short.

This is very slick. What's there feels like a completed game. Would love to play this when you've had time to do everything you envisioned.

Thank you, I have plans on adding to it after the Game Jam is done. I have had such good encouragement from you and so many others in the comments. Thank You for playing my game.
