Whoa, I love the dramatic cutscene after reaching the lantern. I loved the foreshadowing in the writing leading up to it, too!
Absolutely gorgeous aesthetic and music. It all works very well together. The character art as well as the dialogue are really cute and well made! It's easy to see this was taken very seriously.
The dual mechanic reminds me of ibb and obb. I also appreciated the cleverness of having a key to move both characters at once.

This is beautiful! The art is excellent, really loving the environment and character designs. It takes a little time to warm up but the mechanics are fun. Audio is just right with the sfx and soothing music. Definitely does not feel rushed with a glorious opening sequence and smooth animations. It's the full package! Very enjoyable experience.
Cool and chill game with funny dialogue, I had some difficulties passing some areas since each character moves with a different speed and jump high and gravity

Brilliant game! I really enjoy the artwork and music and theme you have here. The concept is super interesting - I did find it a bit difficult to actually control the bottom character, but other than that, absolutely wonderful!
5/5 on everything! Absolute gem of a game! This for sure will be a big hit on Steam, if you end up making it longer and adding a lot more levels and keep continuing with the story. It was a lovely story tied up to a great gameplay. I liked the fact that you could move them either together or separately, so good!
I loved the small little thing you did in the start if the player tried to go to the wrong direction :D I don't know where it originally came from, but nowadays I almost always try to go and see if there is anything there, you had thought about that and perfectly guided the player to the right direction with some witty dialogue! :)
2 Players could have been really fun, but at the same time I think two players could have made it too easy, not sure about that but I think for it to be 2 players, the levels would need to very hard, and it's always a disadvantage for the second player to play upside down :D
One BIG plus was checkpoints, I didn't realise you die if you get too separated, but I only did it once quite far into the game already, and honestly if it would have started from beginning I would have quit it :D That little factor made my day and I decided I will finish this game no matter how long it takes and it was really good size for a gameJam, but please don't stop the development. You have a proper game here, I would recommend doing some devlog/youtube style job on it or something to get the right audience hooked on it and to know about it and from there release it on Steam and hopefully start raking the money in! Would be VERY good on consoles as well, so that on top of the Steam would for sure be!!
Especially the fact that you guys/gals have done all the art and everything, so well done indeed! I think I have only found handful of games I've given 5/5 on everything but this one for sure is one of them!
Thanks for your time and compliments! We 3 developers met through a fb group to make this jam, we worked well together and we would like to continue this game and then release it on steam. We will probably join another jam first, to test the team again, so we get to know each other even better. But the leafysouls project will continue!
Oooohhhh this one was so pretty! Everything about it: music, animation, UI, Splash screen. Lovely stuff! It was challenging, and a delight. Good Stuff!
Very well done with the visual aspects, I did however think that the yellow bushes would kill you if touched but that was just me running into the spike plant at the start. I do wish there was a button that if your characters x coordinates where within a range they would sync up, but no real complaints here. Wonderful Work!

It was difficult at first, but then you get used to the process of controlling the characters and enjoy it.
I liked this one a lot! Of all the platformers in this jam, I think this one had the most fun interpretation of the 2 dimensions idea that I've played so far. And the art/animations were great too. Great job!
This is a well made game. The controller for your characters feels awesome. The gameplay and level designs are great. You have a great game here.
I love the presentation in this one! The setup was quite cinematic and well done. There's another game in this jam with a similar concept which allows two players, so again I feel like I haven't fully experienced this by playing it solo.
