I got stuck on level 4 becasue the nautilus got stuck either in the corner or just on a straight with no movement -  maybe slightly tilt the bars so that you can't get stuck like this...
otherwise I rly liked the puzzle/pop mechanic

This was a lot of fun and I kept thinking "surely this is the last level and new mechanic" and it just kept coming.  Love it.  Great job!

From a graphics standpoint quite trashy but it was a lot of fun and quite unique!

Really liked the mechanic of combo-bubble-popping. Was sort of satisfying seeing the bubbles pop. Had lots of fun playing it. Also the enemies making it harder and having to destroy them with the bubble popping was really cool.

A couple of things that could be improved IMO:

  • Waiting for the player to actually click or press a button to progress on the text. Otherwise some text might be missed
  • Level six, in the beginning, there was a high pitched tone in the music, which was a little hurtful to the ears
  • Music was sometimes a little too loud

But all in all it was a really great game and I even managed to make it to end. Nice work!

There were soo many mechanics going on in this game. I couldn't keep track of what all the bubbles did. It was a really unique experience playing through this game. I thought I wasn't going to be able to make it past the crab. But I did and then it turned into a bubble popping flying game. really unique. I would say that if you wanted to improve upon the game. To definitely make it more clear what all the bubbles do beyond just text in the beginning of the level.

You're absolutely right. In a perfect world (more than 10 days!), each mechanic would be introduced over the course of 5-10 levels before a new mechanic was implemented. Oh well. Fun jam! I'll check out your game.

I had fun popping the bubbles. Couldn't make it past the first level...I'm really bad at these puzzle games. xD

Really great work with this game. I loved the subtle introduction of the mechanics. I think this really did a great job at making the bubbles act in both helpful and harmful ways. You need to clear some orange and red bubbles to move on but can't take too big of a blow to your health. Nice work!

Well, that means a lot coming from you.  Your game was incredible

Interesting concept! Went to level 10! Squid battles are great! It was fun exploding all thoses bubbles!

Developer

thanks! I'll check out your game tomorrow

I finally added a tip to help you all with level 4 -- that's my hotfix. I hope that's staying within the rules. No gameplay changes!

Great submission! I got stuck on level 4 as well. I tried several times, but couldn’t figure out how to solve the puzzle.

Submitted(+1)

That was both unique and fun. There's something satisfying about popping a big chain of bubbles  in a row. I was able to make it to level 4 and that's where I ran into trouble. It talks about destroying the explosive ones first, if I recall correctly. I assumed those were the yellow because they had the same colour as the hint, however I didn't notice anything special about them specifically.

Maybe I'll come back and try again in case I missed something.

Besides the fun and satisfying gameplay I the lighthearted spoofing of 20,000 leagues was pretty entertaining as well.

I really like it.
Music is perfect for it, mechanics are fun.

Its quite the fun game. Loved the music and the sounds. Game mechanic is also quite nice. I got stuck at the level:04 but that is probably ı am bad at it.

Very neat puzzle game, once I got the hang of it I had some fun. Good trial and error approach helped me through the levels. This would make an excellent little moblie game.

This is a very polished game the mechanics work flawlessly. It is smooth to play and easy to understand while difficult to master. This would be an awesome mobile game that people would play endlessly I think. You have a great little game here. The story is good and fits. The music oddly enough was also fitting. The rave vibe I thought when well with the colors. Great and Amazing Job!

Interesting and well implemented mechanics, demands a lot of trial and error approach for playing, but it's still fun. Good work!

I love the mechanics! Lovely sound, music and visuals. It was quite difficult but fun! 😎

Nice game! Loved that you set up a little story to justfy the click colors game. Nice gameplay, simple but clean. I had to retry a few time some levels, but overall it's good!

Nice! Liked the little story things, very cute, the popping sound was great, and the mechanics overall a very nice change on the "bubble popping" formula. I unfortunately got stuck on level 4, as popping the yellow bubbles against the yellow barrier only worked sometimes. At one point I was stuck against it with it having 1 hp and there being like 3 yellow bubbles that I popped, to no avail :( Also it was totally possible to just by bad luck get stuck behind a barrier - maybe make the physics a little slicker (or slightly angle the barriers) so that it doesn't happen? Unless intended :D Anyway, fun!
