I am actually living for the happy dance animation when you finish the level. Thank you.

This is hilarious, I really loved playing it! I even played it through a couple times just to see the other results, unfortunately I was never able to win the girls heart :( But great work and the audio matches the visuals so dang perfectly its great! Great use of the theme and chill game play, a nice change from the more chaotic games in this jam
I feel like the ending of the game was unclear, and the game play was a bit too simple, would have been nice to have some extra obstacle, whether that be enemies or maybe some sort of maze or moving tiles. This felt like a tutorial round, which is totally fair given the time limit, but like I would play it if you decided to add more to it. Over I think its got great potential and it had nice audio and visuals!
I think the game is pretty and I like the gameplay, but on every play through, I would have my boat run into a lighthouse with the light on? Specifically the one on the bottom had the most issues. I also had boats that "crashed" even though they were centimeters away from the shoreline. At first I thought it was just me, but after reading comments, I guess its a common thing? I really think it would be a fun game and if you get to fixing it, I would love to play it post jam!
I think this is a fun twist on visual novels but I personally would have enjoyed this a bit more if there were a few more opportunities for the player to do something, even if the theme is out of control. Like maybe have 2 different options available out of 4? Just something to make me feel like I contributed to the story a little since thats one of the fun appeals of visual novels. I do like the kinda chilling silence in the last scene, and the pop up message saying thank you in the other option, that was pretty cool! Overall I liked it, nice work!
This was hilarious! I definitely am planning to play it again to see the other options and what weird thing he says instead of the actual option xD I did get an error on the cat option and the game crashed unfortunately, which I though was just my computer until I noticed someone else post the same error.
I cant believe you were able to make such gorgeous digital paintings in a short amount of time. I do think it would be a bit nicer to at least sort of keep the warm tone in the game as well (even though it is sorta morbid) because it felt like the beginning frames and gameplay had a weaker connection. Like if the street scene was at least in the day time maybe? But otherwise the game is nice and the artwork is gorgeous!
Nice colour scene and overall graphics! The sound is also really fitting with the game play and the artwork! I do feel like it would be more fun if the timing wasn't every 6 seconds for losing a feature, but maybe every time you lose a life? Or some time longer than 6 seconds at least? Especially since as other people commented, the dash has a cooldown despite the fact that you lose it very quickly
Im sorry about your dog, but his presence is known to so many people now, RIP sonni. This game is really fun and I would play a lot more levels of this! There are some obvious issues in terms of the dog's head going through walls and stuff but this is the kind of game where that stuff almost adds to the charm and humour of it. The set dressing/level design is really nice and the game was an overall good time!
This was a really fun game! I love how everything moves with the beat and just a really great idea ingeneral! The puzzle are fun and the visuals and music are great! The only critique I have is that I feel like this would work a lot better if the camera followed the character better. Times when I was going between a higher and lower platform and the camera moved a large distance and at a fast pace is very distracting. Other than that, I think this is one of my favourites of the jam! Great work!
I think I would have enjoyed a few more rounds (but I mean, I know time restraints are a thing), but its a cute idea! I will say though that the scene of them walking is a bit too slow, especially if you are restarting and have to watch it again. I would either give the option to skip the animation or make the scene a bit faster. Im interested to see a longer version if you guys decide to continue it after the jam!
I had a lot of fun playing this! Simple but cute and a bit familiar but still with it's own unique aspect to it! My only wish is that there was a control that you brings you back to the save point and if there is, I wish it were stated on the web page or game. (it may have been stated in the game at the beginning but I dont remember it being there). Otherwise I dont really have any complaints!
