Thanks all for the feedback from the jam! Finally had some time to throw it together into V2.0 and update the build :)
I would definitely tag this as "Story rich". The lore behind it and the depth to all the characters was astonishing!
Jokes aside, the concept made me chuckle and I thought it was an original take on this. It's fairly hard to direct the... mouse wheel? and the lack of checkpoints (even for the beginning of levels) was a bit unforgiving, but I enjoyed it. Would probably be interesting to see other kinds of interactions other than "death" in the map (maybe I missed them? I didn't complete all the levels, it was hard enough finishing the first one and then having to do it all over again after dying in the second one :D).

I think I'd certainly put restarting from the same level after death in the game in an future update, as I didn't realize it was so hard until after submission / after the competition ended.
If anyone beats it in one whole run (level 1, 2, 3) I'd be very impressed!
I loved the intro so so so much you dont understand, the actual gameplay was very original but the strength was definitely the rats' personalities

There is a certain charm to this game. The opening was quite inspired and added a lot of flavor to the game. The music could have been a bit more glorious to confer the grandiose of the Rat King and their quest to retake their homeland. Spinning out of control is just part of the fun.

This is one of the more unique games I've seen and I love it. I really like the individual factoids about each rat, shows a lot of comitment. The controls are difficult but in a fun way. My only issue is that traps blend a little bit into the background which makes them hard to see at first and notice they are something to be avoided. Maybe just a black outline might make them stand out more. Otherwise great storytelling and really good concept for the game!

The randomly generated rat bios are a nice touch
Gameplay is quite fun and original, though I think it would be much better if you restarted from the level you died on, not the very beginning.

Yeah, I didn't realize how frustrating it was until after I submitted, so if anyone beats the full 3 levels in a row I'd be very impressed (I can beat them individually with a few tries, but all 3 in a row I still can't haha!)
I would probably still play the intro again so you can "meet" your new batch of rats each time, but yeah going back to the last played level would be an update I'd have done with more testing.
