i loved this game! it took me a second to realize the elevator only opened if i killed all the enemies... i thought i could speedrun and dodge them all, but alas. I liked that the big bosses indicated "okay this spawn door is done," because that helped me know if i could move on. I think the controls were super intuitive and easy to use. my favorite sound was the "oof" of the enemies dying. i thoroughly enjoyed this tale of flames, hamsters, and revenge. good job on the submission!
Cool, simple game! I liked the art you did and the color palette you chose. the angles of the lanes could be a tiny but confusing, but over all, i like the concept of the game! I saw that you added a penalty for wasting lemonade, which is nice, but I wish there was an indication that that would happen. i also like how you had different colored straws to add some visual variety. congrats on the submission!
Congrats on the submission! The graphics looks really nice. I'm not used to a 3D style tower defense so that was pretty cool. I really liked the speed up mechanic too, so I'm not just waiting around for the enemies to walk slowly haha. As others have said, sound/music would have really added to the game too. Nice game:- )
I'm glad to hear you found it addictive haha. The bug fix for the click will be uploaded after the jam is over. And we definitely have ideas for more turrets/units to add to the game that we couldn't due to the time constraints of the game jam haha. You had a great strategy too! I was weary when i read the comments about not having a friend, but i decided to be my own friend and played as the WASD character and the arrow key character and i had a blast! the music gave great fighting vibes, and i liked fighting for the fruit. maybe there can be some integration where you actually fight each other instead of just touch to release fruit. other than that, i enjoyed the game! good job!
this was so fun! the sound effects of the tire screeching really shows me how wonky the controls were (in a funny way) and how bad i was at being a taxi driver. i somehow managed to get stuck parallel parking between two trees. if im the last taxi standing, the folks in this town aint going nowhere haha. definitely would play this again. congrats on the submission!
after seeing the 420 comment, i was anticipating a funny thing for 69... i was disappointed. simple, mind numbing game. the sound is simultaneously a metronome and tongue click, and i believe you chose it to lull me to sleep while playing this game... luckily for you, i AM a pro gamer and you cant knock me down that quickly! your game page made me chuckle. good job on the game!
It took me a second to get the hang of the game, but once I understood, it was super fun! The visuals are super cute and I liked the color palette you used. I noticed I was jumping higher in some cases but i didnt realize the things had different weights until i read the comments; that makes it even cooler! I found it a little hard to see what i could jump on and what was background...and then i realized everything is basically a platform lol. maybe you could add a sound effect to indicate that you collected something for your backpack, as this would make it more clear that standing on the platform actually did anything. good job on the game, im definitely going back to play it again!
This was a fun game! The assets you used were cute. The energy as a timer was stressful, but added an element of "ahhhhh" if you know what i mean. My only note is that I think the energy should reset after you die, because if I die too early, I have to wait out the timer anyway to have enough time to make it across the level. overall, this was fun, and good job!
