Pretty cool considering the circumstances of college finals and all that. I've always liked the idea of changing the gameplay as you go, allowing you to access new areas.

I think the fog is a great addition for that hazy feeling you're going for;  So, if you change anything, keep that.

I pretty much agree with everyone else: The collision is weird and the game just start you maybe 3 level back or something like that.

I really liked the art though and I think the idea that the graphics slowly devolve is cool.

I couldn't seem to get past the first level. After it said level complete, the 'Next Level' button wouldn't work. I like the graphics and audio a lot, but that is all i feel comfortable rating without more info.

I get the sense that the story/atmosphere is the main focus of the game, but I think the gameplay could be improved. In the second level, for example, if there was more variety in the landscape, it would be easier to traverse and find where you need to go next.

Reminds me of stuff like Piku Niku. The co-op 2D puzzler is one of my favorite genres and this hits its mark perfectly! Extra levels and some polish would turn this into a $15 game.

I think the game could be improved by making the rewind mechanic a little more difficult. It could be that when you start you have a limited amount of time to get to a checkpoint which rewinds you, instead of being able to rewind at anytime. This would add some nice challenge and make it more of a rewind focused game. Everything else is great. Love the art, audio and game feel.

The graphics on the enemies are simple and clean. I found that I could infinite jump most of the time which made avoid enemies pretty easy. I was a bit confused on the how the theme is integrated, but maybe I'm missing something. All in all, needs some tweaking but has potential.

First of all, I think it's totally fine that the theme was involved in the plot and not the game play. Nobody ever said it had to be integrated in a specific way. Second, I think this game would benefit from an FOV change. If the camera was further from the player, they would have more time to react and it would make the game less frustrating and more fun. Love the soundtrack. Keep it up.

The rope is definitely glitchy. That's what took most of my time. In my experience, the main reasons people have trouble getting the rope to register are:

A) The rope isn't tightly wound around the center

B) They are trying to wrap the rope around the center in the same direction twice

C) The game is just glitching

I did consider adding in a system where if you gain enough speed, the rope turns yellow and becomes a weapon, but didn't end up having enough time. I think I am going to update in the future. Thanks for the critique!

Really nice use the of theme. I love the audio (especially the death sound). If I were to change one thing, it would be the collision on the platforms. It felt a bit inconsistent to me.

That's actually a really good score! None of the playtesters got that far...

Not much new to say about the game but I'm here so I'll say this: If you uncrouch under a crouch area you get stuck.

Seriously awesome game! Each gun has a clear purpose and the sound track changing to fit the different guns is a great idea. Also, using the shotgun is one of the most satisfying things on earth.

The last level was awesome and I love the character design! Using the blob monsters as tools rather than just enemies was also a nice creative twist.

Nice little experience! This is my first game as well, but yours is a lot more artistic. I didn't find myself really considering the timer when I was playing. You could potentially shorten it, or leave it as is if you want to make more challenging levels later on. Maybe you could even add upgrades at certain points that add to your total time in order to make longer, more complex levels? Anyway, great game!

Loved the music! I would maybe make the enemies shoot a little sooner. I tended to get right next to one and die immediately with no time to react. Maybe I'm just bad though.

Maybe make the teenager bar smaller? The only real issues I found was that I had to wait around for a long time to become a caveman. Loved the game though!

It is definitely harder than I wanted it to be. The problem I ran into was that the difficulty comes from what is basically the core mechanic so fixing didn't work out. Thanks for trying my game out!
