hey! Thank you so much for your feedback! The soundtrack changes during the boss battle. If you want to check it out, you can go straight to the battle in the pause menu!

I like your suggestion of changing the theme and art from time to time. I will work on new levels after the jam, for I intend to release it on Play Store, and I will definitely have your suggestion in mind 😁

Could you explain a little better the multiple keys thing? I'm working on a full version of the game to be released on Play Store, so I would love to hear your suggestions to make the gameplay better... in my head it made sense: A to interact, B to shoot. How would you approach it?

About changing into bat form, I created invisible areas that switch their current form whenever they went through, and it was cool to learn your perception of this mechanics 😃

That's true and it's something I have changed on the current build (which will not be updated until de end of the jam, of course). Now the traps have a timer that will reset them according to the level setting, I basically just implemented the same thing I did in the boss battle, where the traps do reset.

Nice game! It definitely can evolve into a full game.  I hate jump scare games, so I played most of the time looking at the minimap, maybe it would be nice to think of a way to place it a little bit more to the play area (I know it's hard to design small interfaces). Some random noises along the maze would also be a nice touch for the spookiness! 

I really liked the ideia and the setting, congratulations! If you intend to work on the project after the jam, here are some things I noticed and would be nice to be improved:

I lost the game once and tried to play it again, but the murderer was already there from the beginning. My guess is that you probably forgot to reset a boolean! 

Because of the problem above I had to refresh the page every time I wanted to try again, and I had to replay it a couple times in order to win the game. I accidentally hit capslock while running from the murderer, and and the inputs stop working... Maybe it's case-sensitive, but that is the first time I see this kind of problem.

Also, I think you could develop the thrill a little bit more before de assassin appears, that would make it more fun (at least for me).

Gostei da premissa, achei uma ideia legal! O jogo, apesar de curto, é uma baita prova de conceito. Minha única sugestão é repensar a fonte da hora de ensinar os comandos, tive dificuldade de entender o "E" maiúsculo. De resto, tá ótimo! Parabéns!

Achei bem divertido! Tenho duas sugestões: Dar algum feedback visual ou sonoro quando o tiro acerta o inimigo, porque eu nunca sabia dizer se eu tinha acertado o bonequinho de capacete, já que nada acontece no primeiro hit. Outra coisa é na hroa do lvl up, quando vai escolher a carta, como eu to freneticamente clicando pra matar os inimigos, acabo escolhendo a carta sem querer, seria legal pensar num sistema pra evitar isso. De resto, muito bom! Parabéns!
