The game auto-saves at the beginning of every level.

I'm glad you liked it, especially the music, as I spent a while on that. I'm not sure why level 2 has those lag issues. It's kind of always been that way for reasons I've never figured out. The last level, though, being as big as it is, I knew about those issues, I just never tried to optimize the engine to fix them. I wasn't all that good at programming when I made this.

As for the difficulty, I don't think Jashin is all that much harder than the previous two bosses. There's actually a safe zone in his fight where you can get a lot of hits on him once you kill the tail, but I won't reveal more. Just know that with everything, there's usually a trick to do it easily if you look closely.

I don't intend to remake the other two games, since after finishing this I started focusing my game development efforts on original games. I do encourage you to check out the other games on my page, though. If you liked this one, you'll probably find that you'll like those, too. (I also just don't think there's much I can do with NG2 or NG3 that would actually improve the game, since I like those games a lot.)

Thanks for playing!

Somewhat simple gameplay, but the challenge of aiming properly was fun, and the game has a ton of polish and style that made it a fun experience overall. This might be my favorite submission I've played so far. Good job!

This is a really interesting concept. It looks nice and clean, though the music is REALLY quiet. I had to turn my volume up to 100 to be able to hear it.

This was a really clever game! I wasn't able to figure out the last puzzle, but the method of input was interesting and overall I liked the game's aesthetics.

sure, as long as you credit me

I'm glad you liked it! You can press F2 to restart the room.

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!

The transition between rooms does adhere to the 64x64 restriction, and in fact the entire game is rendered at 64x64 regardless of window resolution, and scaled up to match the window.

This is probably my favorite game I've played in the jam so far. I love one-screen platformers like this, and it feels extremely tight and satisfying to control.

Sure thing! https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2022/rate/1660885

Despite this being a parody, I still was genuinely spooked at times. The simple graphics and concept were very effective. The only thing I wish there was was checkpoints. And I agree, game design is hard.

Thanks for doing this! I'll be sure to rate yours. https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam-2022/rate/1660885

This was a fun little game, and the ghosts were cute.

It was an interesting idea. I feel like the time limit was way too short to reasonably do things, however.

This was really creative and fun!

I really liked the song!

This was an awesome game! The rotation gimmick was really cool.

I don't know if I'm a big fan of the momentum, but I respect what you made, and I like how it looked.

This had really good music.

So that I actually get responses this time around, what was your favorite song in the game?

I'm glad you enjoyed the music!

So for everyone who's played this game (or at least listened to the soundtrack), what's your favorite song?

25:50? That's a super impressive time, nice job. I don't even know if I can beat the game in that time.

It's been very cool watching you speedrun this and use techniques I never thought of or found. I'm glad you're still having fun with the game!

Yeah, I never actually beat NG1 myself (without using an infinite health Game Genie code). I'm glad you enjoyed my version so much, and thanks for making a video!

Thanks for making a video on it!

Thanks! I appreciate it.

Thanks for playing!
