DM me on discord so it will be easier to reach out! I will give it a try

I've always wanted someone to be interested in my creative process, even though I can't explain it all that well, haha. I know it's not the norm—most people start with the melody or rhythm, but I prefer starting with the chords. I don't play piano, but many of my songs feature it. And I  compose mostly with my guitar, so that might be the reason why harmony sounds a bit off or unconventional sometimes. But I think that's what gives my music its unique character!

Once I have a solid structure for a song, I experiment with different instruments and textures to develop melodies. I constantly rearrange the structure, guided by that little inner froggy voice that tells me what sounds cool and what doesn’t.

That's basically it.

Sup! I’m a composer with experience in MIDI and soundfonts, but I haven’t worked with Game Boy music before. I’m excited to learn and adapt to this new challenge!

Thank you for your review!

I'm glad you noticed the artwork!
The artist and I aimed to incorporate all the assets mentioned in the songs—music, video games, cats, psyche (represented as a ghost), and more from other songs that I didn't manage to include before the deadline.

Hey! Thanks so much! I’ll definitely check out your work later.

You got it all right! Most of my influences come from Japan, like Kevin Penkin (he’s actually Australian but works mostly for Japanese media), Keiichi Okabe, and Nobuo Uematsu.

You nailed the guitar part; I just mess around until the chords work out.

I loved your review! Thanks again!

Sup! I'd love to get some feedback!

I'll check your submission later:)

I thoroughly enjoyed the overall vibe of the OST! "Not Anymore" caught me by surprise – wasn't expecting dubstep all of a sudden – but it blends really well. Such a delightful experience!

I really enjoyed the ambience of your overall soundtrack! It works incredibly well and is very cohesive. Every element blends together seamlessly, creating a fantastic listening experience. Great job!

Oh my god, everything about this is exceptional. I'm not usually a fan of electronic music, but you've completely changed my perspective. I'm amazed and pleasantly surprised. This is now my personal favorite.

Astounding work! I'm amazed at how you managed to arrange 11 tracks in just a week and make them so coherent! The vocals and orchestration are fantastic. Keep up the great work. This is definitely in my top 10 favorites.

Pictures Of Life is GREAT! I really enjoyed the buildup and the mix of sounds you used.

The vibes are spot on! Your choice of soundbank was excellent. This is definitely one of my favorites so far.

Such an original composition! "Groovin' with the Alley Cats" is simply awesome! You know how to use your synths.

Absolutely stunning arrangement! The strings gave me chills—it's quickly become one of my favorite pieces. The way everything comes together is just beautiful.

Hey! Thanks for your feedback. It's really difficult to get people to listen to your music, so I'm thrilled that some are actually giving it a listen, lol. I'm surprised that's the one some people like the most; it's the one I wasn't even sure I would keep.

I agree with your last point. A week wasn't much time, and I went overboard trying to create around 15 different tracks. In the end, I rushed most of the songs and ended up dedicating more time to the longer ones (like 'Mother,' for example).

Thanks again for the review! I'll be sure to check out yours!

Thanks! Solved it.

I submitted my entry with plenty of time remaining, and I was quite satisfied with it.

After the jam concluded, I began reviewing other submissions and noticed that their tracks could be downloaded. When I checked mine, however, it showed 'This soundtrack is currently unavailable.'

Is this a problem? Or is providing a YouTube link sufficient for participation? How can I resolve this issue?

The fact that one of my songs is a waltz about my cat lol

is it okay to post cat pics tho??? i really want to
