- I appreciate text-based games so this was a fun project to see submitted. The premise is good and you execute the two paths that are available well. I've not worked in Ink before, though I'm very familiar with javascript development. A couple of things that could jazz up your game. I'm not sure how much flexibility you have in your formatting, but I would recommend adding colorization and/or font stylizations in order to differentiate who is speaking. Especially given this is a dialogue-heavy narrative, giving your dialogue character in some way would be a big benefit. Cross branch reactivity is another thing. You might actually have some of this but I didn't play through it enough to see any. If I talk with the coffee guy and he eventually needs help, are there options to get him help if I've developed relationships with other characters? If there are, great! If there aren't, that would be a great addition. This is always a tricky thing, but double, triple, and quadruple check your nodes. I just ran into one in the coffee guy conversation that ended with no dialogue options. Again, so glad to see someone tackling this space. It's a good challenge to work only in text. Far more complex than people might assume.
- I really liked the addition of the background music via MP3. I didn't use on my first playthrough, but on the second playthrough it really helped to set the environment. I also loved how the character names were generic descriptions of them until you actually got to know them, SO REAL! haha I did hit a couple of dead ends on restarts, though and wasn't able to get through the whole path until I refreshed the page. Fun story! Thanks!
- The theme didn't quite come through in this version, but the writing was good, and there were some interesting mysteries of how to best solve the co-worker's problems before the end of the week.

Enjoyed going through the story and looking forward to seeing the other routes completed!
First attempt and the purchasing department is doomed XD I can't wait to see the other routes that will be available!
Fun and engaging story. Currently is unfinished which was expected as it is a demo. The audio track really set the mood of the game. I could see this developing into a story with multiple different endings and building of relationships. I like the option to save, reload, restart, and adjust the theme at the top of the screen, that is a very helpful detail.
I'm a sucker for choose-your-own-adventure games, even if it's just an office adventure. I couldn't relate more to the one named Coffee. I think it's very functional, and your design choice to use Ink allows you to focus on writing and keeping track of player decisions. It was a little unclear how to make progress, I found myself just doing anything I could after characters had no more to say. I assume that will become obvious as you add more paths, though, so take that as very light criticism.
Kudos to the artist for giving an aesthetic feel to it all.
Made it to the end of week, keeping everyone at arms length, oops. The two paths that were complete were fun! The characters had unique voices and I enjoyed how they were inspired by office equipment.
Ran into a hard-stop dead end on my second playthrough, but on the whole nicely put together ink story. Is the erase theme about your previous job getting erased? Interesting characters/options for chatting with them.
the way it was tied to erase was you had to erase the facade of the office supply to reveal the character underneath. The more you learn, the more you see.
Story novels aren't much of my thing, so its hard to give much feedback on. However, for a quick note for anyone who needs help playing the game : After you unzip the folder, right click on the file labeled "index.html" and open it with your browser, and it should run in a new window.
