Thanks so much! Honestly the lose items while sprinting mechanic was the seed that the whole idea grew from. Glad people seem to like it! I also put a lot of work into the level design so appreciate the good feedback :)

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! I've had a lot of fun working on it and I'm looking forward to releasing the completed version. I've already added a zork-inspired navigation system that I'm really stoked to show off soon-ish. Also of course this game wouldn't be half as good without your incredible audio assets!

I honestly really liked this one! The level design and audio were really solid, and the VA really added a lot! I think The puzzles were well done too, though I did get stumped for a while on the second one as I had a hard time hearing the voice over the sound of the machine.

A very unique and interesting game idea! I think the aesthetics worked pretty well and the atmosphere was definitely spooky. The voice over work was also really well done!

Wow. I was not expecting to enjoy that! The level of quality and polish you were able to get in a week is incredible. The sound design and the pictures and voices are perfect and so unsettling. And that ending! Really impressive stuff. We both went for early 80's text based horror games but you clearly spent more time on that side of things and it really paid off.

Thanks for the review! Yeah, I really fell in love with the concept and my mind was constantly racing with ideas for things to implement to really creep out the player. Unfortunately college and raising a 2 year old took more time away from development than I expected but I'm happy I was able to lay the groundwork and make a somewhat polished experience in that time that I can build on.

Ah that's fair. Funny cause I know The Ferry also had a lot of reading in it lol

Heck yeah! It's still a WIP so it's only about 5 mins of gameplay before it abruptly ends mid-story, but I had a lot of fun making it and applying your sounds!

This was amazing work to have been done in a week! It feels so polished and satisfying!

Hey, just wanted to let you know I used this pack extensively in another Game Jam submission and wanted to link it here. I seriously cannot believe the value of this pack for the price. It's a real game changer (pun intended) :)

Really neat concept, and I like the audio! I think the enemies are maybe a bit too fast as I couldn't seem to get past that first one, but overall I enjoyed this one :)

I LOVE the aesthetics of this, and the audio is really nice too. Reminds me of the old RE games with the loud footsteps. I unfortunately wasn't able to figure out what to do after only finding 3 clues at the first crime scene, but it's very possible that's just a skill issue lol

I really liked this! I think you nailed the visuals and the audio sounds great with the flickering lightbulbs and the ambient sounds. The creature sounds really spooked me when I first heard them, though they did get to be a bit much after a bit. The tablet looks AMAZING. Maybe not technically zero UI, but "immersive" UI like that is my favorite kind. Also the way you indicate where you can crouch and squeeze through with the lightbulbs was really interesting and took me a minute to figure out but made me feel smart when i did. Great game!

Wow thanks :) you're right, I've been pretty hard on myself about it but I've gotten a lot of positivity from the community.

Honestly the game is garbage, but your audio does a lot of heavy lifting. Thanks!

Hmm not sure about the buzzing, but I have no doubt that the game is bugged all to hell so that's very probable. Thanks for playing and thanks so much for the feedback!

Thanks so much! Yeah, I struggled with how much guidance I should give, but I figured it would become clear once the player lit a couple bonfires.

Yeah that was an issue I kept running into for sure. I'd like to make an update the fix that but I just ran out of time. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

Yeah I went back and forth on the music. In the end I think you're right. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback!

This is awesome! Ill be using some of these in my current project for the Goedware Gamejam.
