When will the voting finish ? i saw the timer when the jame finished it has something like 5 days and now it was extended to another 12 days. Can someone please explain to me.

i have no idea what i just experienced but i love it XD the sounds, art style, animations and voice over ! I can see a lot of work put into it, m sure u had a blast making it haha.

I pressed enter, and one cat appeared but nothing happened
I dont know if i am missing something.

Thanks for trying the game and for ur comment !

we are glad the idea of the game and the player's goal were clear and unambiguous from the start, i usually overcomplicate things and struggle making it apparent in the end haha.
We are not sure we can even call this a game, the pixel art took so long to draw that the game ended up being poor in terms of mechanics, player interactions, feedback, score, UI, ... and toons of bugs ! its a mess haha but we're glad u felt at home playing it and happy u enjoyed it :D

Hey ! Thanks for taking the time to reply :)

I felt the game had the ascetics of a fighter story turn based game of sort haha. It's an ambitious idea for a 3h game jam. but i believe u brock it down to its bare bone mechanics and interactions to be able to finish it in time. And i believe that is the essence of this challenge, managing the scope.
And dont worry abt the text haha the cycle of fix-build-upload-test is a very long cycle for a 3h jam.

Great job  !

I like the art style ! I see one issue that is the camera doesnt follow the cow. other than that its cute ;)

Interesting. I wish the text that appears when selecting a move stays a bit longer, i never could read it in time, and the font makes it harder to read fast. and also some of the text overflows offscreen. other than that i think its a promising idea.

It reminds me of StackLands ! i like it ! but right now the gameplay is very limited, u just click a button and cards show up. if u can maybe merge them or do something with them u would have an interesting game loop.

For some reason the charecter cant walk, and in some cases it gets blocked with the enemy pushing it infinitly.
Other than that i like the colors, shadow, and feel of the game. Best of luck in your future games ;)

As a big fan of retro games, the SFX caught my attention. I also like how u integrated the tuto into the level environment.

But greeting the player with tons of text is not a good idea. and in terms of balancing, u might need to increase the magazine count or add a shot cooldown bcs it runs out super fast.

ALso, i dont see how this has anything to do with the theme. Maybe if u add some art for the farm it would be better. Imagine the walls being hay stacks, and the zombies being infected farm animals, and the player being the farmer. that would be reaally good !!

Other than that good job for the effort mate !

You cheater XD

You dont have to put the first target near the player, just let him know that his goal is to collect them.
But yeah that might work as a solution

The hitboxes are perfectly aligned, but the screen aspect ratio messed that up unfortunately.
Thanks for the kind review :3

Woow ! got 450 score and i loove it !
Very fun, exciting, and polished game !
Great job !!

I like the art style ! veery guud for a 3h game !

My suggestion is to make a fullness bar instead of numbers.
And to convert the 0.12 minutes for example at the end into seconds or a score of some kind. I mean i cant say people can calculate 0.12 minutes on the fly to know how long that means.
Also try to add some sounds; a theme music or SFX when hitting the bugs for example

Other than that its a cool game ! Good job

Cool ! i like the use of lights and the other sources of light that disperse !
At first i didnt knew what i should do, i was looking around aimelessly till i found a target, only then i understood that maybe i should connect them.
So a small hint at the start as to what the player should do, will help.
Also some Background music also will bring the game to life.
And finally some score and visual feedback will go a long way.

But i understand that its made in 3h so great job !

Relaxing colors, nice art style, chill atmosphere, its guuud !
You basically look for the target, so it fits the theme perfectly. Impressive for 3 hours !

The only issue i have is that, after reaching score 5, the target takes so much time to appear, in that time other figures pass through in very small quantities compared to the first couple of levels. Like at some points only 3 are on screen, which makes the player just set there and wait. But again, maybe thats just me.

I love making puns out of the theme and making games around them haha.
For this version, its not procedural due to the limited amount of production time, but i would like it to be procedural too, that would be more fun !
Thanks for the review ;)

Thanksss :D
Yeah that's an unfortunate issue, but the targeting still hovers around the target, so just click around the word and you'll hit it eventually ;)

yeah, I want it to be a relaxing game that's why i didn't add a timer. And didnt think about that clicking "hack" XD. Not that i had much time to add them in the end anyways, I'll add them after the jam.

Thank u for the kind review :D

Very cool ! i like the western theme, and art style.
I just think it would be better if you lower the volume of the gunshot a bit, and maybe keep the music playing through all the levels, instead of restarting it in every level.
Also, the UI elements hid the cards and makes sometimes it harder to find the target.

:D

Thank you ! :D

Heyy Thanks for the feed back.
Yeah an unfortunate issue is that the target is a bit off target haha
Once you found the target, try clicking around it and you will eventually click the target's target.

Thanks again for the kind review !

M surprised hhhh m sure you gonna like it !
Then goodluck in your journey, and i'll happily play test any version you have ready 😏

Thanks for the kind feedback. my partner outdone himself in the music department :smirk:
But yeah if we're to continue developing the game, the save would be the 100% first feature to add, as it was cut out due to time constraint in the first place

I have to say that, while i love doing 1 bit pixel art, i didnt expect so many people to love it ! specially in this rushed, first attempt, and late start game jam ! it really made my day <3.
And i am sure  Wisead is having the same experience with his music.
Thanks you so much for the kind words !

As for the credit: Wisead composed the music and sound effects, and i drew the pixel art.

aah i see, the pause decision makes sense.

Guud luuck ;D

hahaha dont jinx it Wisead XD

Yeah at very least it will inspire more ideas.

Yeah that checkPoint is the most asked-for feature, unfortunately we barley managed to submit in time, 30min late to be exact :smirk: so we had to cut some corners.
Thanks a lot for the kind feedback ^^

I see you're a huge fan of The Stanley Parable. This is a very nice game for those who enjoy this type. Plus the humor and story is very entertaining, and quite convincing when using big scientific words haha.

I can very much see this conversation being in the series Loki, as a time agents call center, giving technical and temporal support XD I cant get enough of it !

My on and only suggestion, is reading the phone numbers from the Numbad or the keyboard in general, as clicking is a bit slow for long numbers.

And at the end it said to enter "1800-Paradox" but i dont know how to do that, since there is no letters in that keyboard.

Other than that, i really enjoyed the story, cant wait for a bigger version :3

The concept of repeating all the levels when loosing is interesting in this game, I love how the levels gets mixed, past and present, as in time itself is broken.
i like how the lava particles add so much life to the scene.
As for the mechanics, i was stuck in lvl3 for so long till i tried to experiment with a wall jump, and it worked hhhhh i think you should mention that mechanic it in the game.
The pause menu doesnt stop the game nor the time counter.
I think the jump and controls in general are a bit floaty and heavy, maybe that's by design, but its not really my cup of tea. I respect the effort though ! good job.

My pleasure ;)

Thanks for the feedback ;)

I think making a game about a game is a bit non-conventional, but according to the people kind enough to try it, it turned out interesting. And we are so happy for that.

Thank you so much ! it means a lot.

We definitely enjoyed this one. And who knows, it might evolve into something more that just a game jam submission ;)

Thank you.

i guess the narrative should be more clearer. the story is that you get an early build for a game to try out from your friend, the game is called Reality. but upon interacting with it, you get a phone call from your friend, telling you that his game Reality is breaking , and you cant get out of it (Think a FullDive game like SAO) the only way to get out is to go back to the start room, only this time with strange creatures and monsters appearing out of nowhere.
