Game's settings screen's resolution is incorrect despite everything else seeming to be fine. Couldn't play the game due to the fat post processing stack running really poorly. Please fix the settings menu and add a toggle for the unnecessary FX.

Thank youuuu, sorry I didn't complete a restart mechanic because at the point when I finished the game I just finished it so I could have something to submit, this isn't really a good showcase of what I can do in the timeframe :P
The art compliment makes me very happy, thanks for that !

Thanks! I did the art and main mechanic day 1, sadly then proceeded to pull an all nighter doing nothing and then slept for 24 hours, and lost my motivation lolol
I don't see myself as an artist or anything so hearing compliments about the sprites makes me happy :D

Yeah, I didn't have much time to design puzzles so the mechanic didn't get used much, it's the one thing I'm upset I didn't handle before time ran out ._.

Whoops, I think I forgot to put in the description of the game that the gray was actually done with alpha channels in the code ^^; My bad! Thanks for the compliment about the polish though :>

No clue what you meant by that last bit sorry ^^;
But thanks for the compliments!

Thanks! :D

thanks for the nice comment btw! :D

I'm working on a prototype for an expansion ;P

with many more slice of life features like a level editor & fixed movement systems

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the movement, that's the one thing I probably should've polished a bit more ^^;

Thank you! I loved your game as well! :D

Thank you!! :D

We're currently toying with the idea of a GAUDETE expansion, it could be a fun first full game :P

Neat platformer, movement didn't feel too bad & the difficulty was pretty consistent. I will say though that I wish there were more invincibility frames, because sometimes I'd accidentally lose two lives from one collision with an enemy. Good job regardless!

This is one hell of an experience. Sadly I had to look through comments to see how to get all of the endings, but I enjoyed the story a lot & the twist was very good. Good job! (cheesy title drop intended)

I agree with what you said about the rock & the puzzles, I didn't put enough time into tweaking those as I was just pushing to get it stable ^^; I'm glad you liked the game though! Thanks for the great feedback :D

Yeah, didn't have much time to make more complex puzzles due to the time constraint & my lack of experience sadly. I'm glad you liked it though, thanks for the kind words :D

Thank you!

That's why I threw in the "Reset Level" button in the pause menu ^^;

Interesting game, the steep difficulty curve definitely caught me though, so I couldn't finish the game. The precise jumps so early on were a bit too challenging. The idea of having "generations" fits the theme really well, though, good job!

I'm flattered, thank you for the nice words! This was my first serious game jam that I've completed a game for so I'm happy to see the positive feedback :D

Thank you! :D

This game is the definition of "Death Is A New Beginning".

I really love how you get reborn as many times as you like, as it makes you really know that death is not a burden, but a gift. Had a good time playing this game. The art is consistent and the visuals look nice, not to mention how the music and sound design is just incredible. Well done!

I love this art style and the audio is really good, the only nitpick I have is that the "how to play" screen was super cluttered and I wasn't able to understand all of it, which hindered my gameplay experience. That aside though, I loved watching this develop as it was shown in the discord & even if my personal experience with this game was short, I still loved it. Well done!

This game is incredible. The amount of endings may be small and the replayability might not be there at all after you get all 4, but the experience with the art and the music really makes it a good quick playthrough. I loved going for the different paths and seeing how it'd go, and the sound effects and smooth music transitions gave it a real polished feel. Well done!

Thank you! I personally would also like to give it a second try and refine it, as I feel like I didn't give myself enough time to make good puzzles with the mechanic. Maybe in the future :P

Thank you for the feedback! In regards to the rock, I'll be honest and say I procrastinated and while I did have a good chunk of time left to try and fix it at the end, I decided not to risk messing up something crucial and left it in as stable a state I could get it into.

I'm glad you liked the controls! I spent some time tweaking values there to try and make it as enjoyable as possible.

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that you like the look of the game, as I do too :D

Regarding the gliding, I do admit that the slight awkwardness of the glide completely slipped past my eyes, as I was focused on fixing some aggravating underlying bugs, but I'm glad it didn't hinder your experience too much. Thanks again!

I like this one! The art is smooth and the gameplay is even smoother. Going in though I did notice some early inconsistencies:

There's no tutorial, the player is just thrown in with descriptions of what their player of choice can do. When I started I had zero clue what I was playing was a music game, and I still don't entirely know the end goal.

Adding on to the consequences of no tutorial, I had no idea what the special ability was supposed to do for me, as delaying attacks seemed to just staple down my impending doom even more.

Overall though, the music & art was very nice, and I enjoyed playing. Well done !

Alright, I've got a lot to say about this experience.

First of all, I love how cute the artstyle was. It made it a lot more enjoyable, and overall was very good on the eyes. Second of all, the music was very appealing, my ears give their thanks.

I do have some criticism, however.

The UI sometimes overlapped with itself, making it hard to read. Some transitions, specifically after dying, were a bit messy. The tutorial doesn't have a specific end, which almost led me to stopping my playthrough early, until I noticed the screenshots having more.

The difficulty curve was also too steep, as I didn't understand what the upgrades I were adding did until after I had already died trying to use them. Controls for said upgrades also weren't noticeably mentioned anywhere, as far as I know.

Overall, though, this was an enjoyable game to play. Good job!

I really like this! The controls are very smooth, the game loop is easy to pick up on, the visuals are great & its overall very easy to get into. Well done!

I'm glad you liked it! And to sum up the reason as to why level 9 is so weird -- the original ending to that was just that wonky lil square so I left it in. Level 9's title, "Test Level" explains this as I stopped modifying that level after I designed level 1 :P

i loved this way too much

game of the year

that was the most fun part to make haha

Very impressive! Liked the gameplay as it was a bit intense & still felt smooth. Well done.

I like this a lot, but there are plenty of issues that could be touched up on:
Camera is very snappy, it's a bit disorienting. Aiming is also difficult because of limited motion, and some parts are not well optimized so I had to stop my play early.
Overall a solid project though! I liked the effects and the afterburner :D

The controls are very weird to play with, I feel like the character grips to the walls too much. And the jumps are too fast, so it's hard to do max-height climbs. Not to mention the harsh hitboxes on the player. Other than those things, the game is very well executed and showcased, well done here.

This is a well built game! I struggled to figure out how linking with the other robots worked, but once I figured it out it seemed to be a nice, interesting puzzle game. This could be pretty damn good if it had more levels, some sound effects, and some more detail. Good job on this!

It's hard to get used to the game, and I got confused on where to go due to lack of signs or any signal showing me where to go, so I had to stop playing the game early. I really liked the idea though and I feel like it could be a really nice game if fully completed.
