I'm hearing about another bug that occurs after a certain point in the game which leads to the player bugging out and flying constantly. Apparently this can be fixed by reloading the game (refresh site). This will be fixed in code after the jam is over.
Also there are no real obstacles after you reach the moon zone because I ran out of time. There were supposed to be asteroids that randomly spawn and try to hit you.
Very interesting concept. Unfortunately the mint transaction doesn't go through for me. It says it's unable to estimate gas and seems to never complete. You should definitely try and make a full version of this, I can see it becoming a great success especially if it has different shapes and you end up with working 3D model exports.
Thank you so much for the feedback!
You are right, different weapons deal different damage, knockback and have different attack speed. It's very easy for me to implement new weapons but I might redo the whole system post-jam (Will start working on an update tomorrow and push it when the jam ends). I got mixed feedback for the combat system because it's pretty bland right now I'd say but like I said I will keep working on improving it.
I'm glad the game was engaging for you and that you liked the boss fight. I have never made a game like this, let alone a bossfight, before, so hearing this really motivates me! :D
There are a couple of bugs that I'm aware of but I'm glad they aren't that game-breaking and you didn't notice them too much. Again, thanks for the nice, thoughtful comment!
Here is mine :D It's a pretty long video because and I had to rush it (wasn't sure if you could submit devlog after the jam submissions ended) but I'll be very happy if some people would check it out!
Thanks for the feedback! I definitely want to improve the combat system in an upcoming update. The second shop-keeper was actually the boss and after beating it the game would've been done and a credits screen would appear. You should've been able to restart the game by pressing L. If that didn't work somehow then it was probably a bug :/
I thought about adding ambient music during development but I rushed the SFX. It will follow in an update as well. Still, thank you for playing!
The game was very nice and the idea behind the gameplay is good!
The game was a bit too slow-paced for me but that is a personal preference. I would look at alternatives for the camera movement (like a smooth camera or making the current system a bit faster) and adjust the movement and animation speed.
I hope you continue to develop it! :)
