This was one of the best games in the jam I've played so far! The art, the dialogue, the seeeecrets! Everything just worked so well and fit so great together! You guys did such a great job of building up the suspense over a long period of time, and the music especially played a big role in that. I love how each character had their own little music theme. And this thing is also jam-packed (haha) with content, so much so that I couldn't believe this was made in only a month! Each character was unique, in terms of dialogue, story, and design, All in all, this was one of my favorite games to play in the jam, and I hope you expand it into a complete game in the future!

Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks for the review! Glad you liked the graphics!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked the sound, because that was one of my main focuses when making this game.

Thank you for the nice review! I'm glad you want to see more!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed!

Thanks for the kind review! I wasn't initially planning on continuing the game, but I think that it deserves to be a little longer, so I might add to it some more in the future!

This game is a mashup of the Sims and Animal Crossing in the best way! I loved the cute, little characters, mixed with the gameplay of mystery and stealth! This game also has some of the best polish in the competition, with the UI, art, and just about everything! My one suggestion would be to give the player a bit more control over where the camera is facing, but other than that, great game!

What a fun little game! I loved how you implemented the progression, with the enemies getting stronger as you get stronger, and it was really fun! The combat was fun and compelling, and I had a lot of good moments playing it! My one suggestion would be to make the boat's default movement speed faster, since there were some points where I was just waiting to get somewhere. Other than that, great game!

Wow, what a fun and unique mix of phasmaphobia and the gameboy! Once I figured out how to get it working on my computer, I had such a fun time playing through it. You interpretted the wildcards in such a unique way too, so great job on that! My one suggestion would be to make the speed of the game (walking, talking) a bit faster, especially since this is a game players will be going through multiple times, and the slowness can get on your nerves after a while. Other than that, phantastic game!(see what I did there?)

Such a unique idea for a game, and you really captured the feel of an early 2000s internet blog post, from the music to the art! Moving between secret passages is a bit janky, but it worked for me in the end. All in all, amazing game, and a really interesting and unique interpretation of the theme!

What a fun and polished game, from the gameplay to the mechanics to the art! I love games where you can just beat the hell out of everybody, and this game satisfied that need. The stealth section was also really cool, too! All in all, just a fantastic game with a super-high level of polish and pizzaz!

Such a mysterious and charming game! Love the artstyle and use of dithering to keep the colors at 4 (I always love when 3D games have a small pallete). The puzzles were all fun and unique, and the ghosts were really cute, too! All in all, a fantastic submission to the game jam!

A nice platforming game with a solid story there, too! I liked all of the fake walls, and thought they tied in well with the theme of "secrets." You also made a pretty fun and unique damage system with the static and stuff, and I liked that a lot too! My one suggestion would be to make the movement not quite so floaty, because there was many a time that I watched in utter horror as my character decended, very slowly, onto a spike that had not been open when I had jumped a second earlier (what I'm saying is the slow jumps mess up platform timing quite a bit, even if the floatiness ties in well with the space theme). All in all though, a great, charming game!

Quite a fun game! It was short and sweet, and the main mechanic of tricking enemies into breaking boxes was really cool and unique! Overall, a great little game that had the feel of an intense bullet-hell!

Thank you for the kind review, and I'm glad you enjoyed playing!

Thanks for playing! For this game, I'd wanted to make an easy experience that pretty much everyone could play, but I agree that the puzzle definitely could've been quite a bit harder.

I'd like to build more onto this game in the future as well. Thanks for the kind review!

I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

Quite a fun and charming game! I loved the little rhyming riddles, and they gave me a good idea of what I needed to do without spoiling the whole thing. The physics based interactive objects were fun to play around with too, and I would love to see more of them in the final game! My only suggestions would be to make the camera movement a bit more subtle, and to add more sound effects. Other than that, great game!

Thank you for the review! I'm glad you enjoyed!

What a nice, relaxing, cozy little point-and-clock game! I loved the minimalist sort of artstyle you used, and my only suggestion would be to add even more! Overall, a really fun and wholesome game and a great submission!

This reminds me of my game, only like.... 1000 times better! The art is beautiful, the puzzles are just the right ammount of difficult, and you even added in some stealth gameplay to boot! Overall, one of the best submissions in the competition, and I'd be very surprised if it doesn't get top 10 at least! Awesome job!

Thank you for the kind review! The reason the puzzles were so easy was because I was trying to make a game that most people could play quite easily, but I definitely agree I could've made the puzzles quite a bit more difficult. Thanks for playing and rating the game!

Very unique concept for this one! It feels like a combination of "Little Alchemy" and Satan (lol). My only suggestion would've been to give a bit more guidance on how to make recipes, but other than that, solid entry!

Thanks you for the kind review! One of my main focuses making this game was the art, so I'm glad you liked that! I'll definitely be using your advice about loops in the future, because yeah, the music does get a bit repetitive after listening for too long. As for the puzzles, I had wanted to create an easy game that almost anyone could play, but I agree that the puzzles still could have been a bit more challenging. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for the kind review, and I'm glad that someone finally noticed the layered music! The main reason the puzzles weren't too challenging is because most of my games up until this point have been on the harder side of things, and I wanted to make a game that just about anyone could pick up and play.  But I do still think I could made my puzzles a bit harder and still have the same "easy-to-play" sort of game. Thanks for playing, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This is actually one of the most unique and fun games I've played so far! The hints about how to play the game that were just lying around was awesome game design, and it was really satisfying to show that old geyser who was boss, especially after all the smack he was talking about me! The artstyle was also really clean, and this was, all in all, a really great submission!

Oh my god this game was beautiful. It was a combination of Fez, Tunic, and Monument Valley in the best way possible. Placing the player next to the door made your goal clear from the beginning (great game design), all the puzzles with moving the camera (and the stone structures) were unique and fun, and all had that "aha" moment that made me feel very smart when completing them. The 2D visuals meshed very well with the 3D ones, too! Overall, amazing puzzle game, and definitely delivered on the theme of "Secrets."

This was just a delightful little game! It's a nice twist on the overdone "runner" concept, and all 3 of the mechanics you've created (running, swapping, gun) tie in well with one another. My only suggestions are little things, like making it more clear when the player is hit, or having indicators when the player is speeding up (speed up the music or make a super fast running animation for the character), but other than that, it's great! The colors you've chosen for your pallete are great as well. All in all, a fun micro speedrunning game!

Loved the artstyle for this game, as well as the mood you gave it! The mechanic of reaching into pictures was very clever, and added a lot of complexity to the game! I love a good mystery game, and this was certainly that! Great job!

I loved this game! The artstyle was very polished, and you did a really good job at creating a spooky atmosphere with the sound effects and art. Your game's main mechanic of discovering traps and secrets was really unique, and tied in really well with the theme! My only suggestion would be to add even MORE secrets and secret traps, and finding more ways to integrate them with the gameplay and platforming. Also, you're the first game in this competition I've seen that uses only four colors in a way other than pixel art, so way to go on that! All in all, great, polished game!

Just played the game, and HOLY HELL HOW DID YOU MAKE SO MUCH CONTENT IN SO LITLE TIME??? This was a great game! The art was good, I loved the voice acting, and I also loved the whole concept  of building frankenstein while running from the townsfolk. I loved all the funny little references to various characters that you sprinkled throughout. My only suggestion would be to make it a little more noticable that something is a body part, but other than that, great work!

Fun game with a unique concept! I think there could have been a bit more explanation as to what buying different powerups would do, and also making it more clear when you had succesfully typed in a cheat. All in all though, I think you handled both of the wildcards you used very nicely. Great job!

Thanks for the kind review! I'm glad you liked the art!

I loved this game! All of the mechanics were very unique, the lassoing especially was so satisfying to use, and even though it might've been a bug, I liked how you could lasso two people at once if you stood close enough to them. All of the new ideas you introduced from level to level just added to the complications, and it's a really good micro-speedrunning game to boot! Awesome!

Thanks for the review! I'm sorry that the UI wasn't scaling correctly, this was something I should've accounted for.  As for the part where you were stuck: Does the rug fit on your screen size or can you not see it? Also, the itch.io page is where I put most of my description and detail. Thank you for playing!

Thank you for the kind review! I'm glad I was able to make a competent game!
