That would be something, but this is only a jam game!

(1 edit)

No, it just supports all controllers :)
The name is not terribly apt but it was a cute joke because you can grow up to 9x your normal size.

I am so glad that you enjoyed the game!

Thank you. Glad you enjoyed!

Thank you so much!

We would have loved to have control rebinding, but that was way out of scope for this short of a time for us. Thank you though!

This game is awesome. A bit of balancing issues, perhaps, but really fun nonetheless. Making a chaotic mess of a ship is really fun! I love all the different parts, and the crazy enemy variety. Great game!

Thank you!

Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed our game.

Sorry you had trouble with the controls. There were 3 different schemes, WASD + JKL, Arrow Keys + ZXC, and controller. Glad you enjoyed anyways.

I've been trying to think how to make edit mode more obvious. Any ideas? Fullscreen was something we didn't have time to add. Thank you so much!

Very kind, thank you!

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. All but one of the levels can be completed really quickly, and any challenge can be easily mitigated by figuring out the intended solution. Things can definitely be done in multiple ways, some easy, some very hard.

Yeah, we agree. Checkpoints were something we didn't think we needed until it was too late to add them! Glad you had fun though!

I agree. I know exactly which level you mean, after all, I made it. I was perhaps too ridiculous with my slow slow level :) Glad you enjoyed anyways.

The controls were one of the hardest things to get right, and we tried our best to explain them. Glad you enjoyed!

I like how the game looks quite a bit.

I'm glad you enjoyed!

Good luck with pixel art, it's a fun journey! I've been doing pixel art for probably 6 years now. Wow.

Glad to be of help! I really meant it from a place of constructive criticism, as I would want for anything I make as well. (I see now I was probably a little harsh lol)

In all reality it should load but the load times are huge for even a good PC.

This is so sad :( Simply buy a better computer to play the game ;)

We are pretty happy about the game mechanic we designed too haha

It's a bit lame having to spam click to shoot fast, and you literally can't kill enemies fast enough. The art is cute, but adding some juice would have made it feel a lot nicer! Good take on the theme though. I like the powerups.

So far probably my second favorite game. I love the mechanic and you expand on it nicely! A bit of the level geometry (such as pipes) being non-solid to the player was not understood at first but I figured it out. Great game!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed.

We tried to make short levels, but we probably should have had checkpoints. Time ran out... very quickly!

Sorry you had troubles with controls! There were several layouts to choose from! Actually you weren't supposed to use z and x when using WASD -- we also had J and K do the same things but for that control scheme. Glad you enjoyed!

Thanks. Honestly, the game felt way better on controller anyways :) Obviously we didn't have time to add control rebinding haha

Thank you very much! We were originally planning on having twice as many levels but we ended up with 12 haha

Me and my team really like the idea too. We had lots more ideas, but we limited scope creep as best we could! Thank you!

Thank you for the complements!

Thanks. Godot makes it pretty easy for nice looking pixel perfect! You can choose the resolution you render at, it's great.

I love the dynamic shadows.

Thank you for the valuable insight and critique. Any pixel perfect-esque jumps are, while not intentional, okay with us because they are harder than the actual solution to the puzzle. Glad you enjoyed!!

Thanks! Glad you liked it.

Thank you very much! I know what level you're talking about too haha.

Very interesting concept. Fits the theme in a very wacky way. Love the art and sound design! I think something broke because snails stopped appearing on wave 4.

This is a fun game. It's a really well made mix of platformer and tetris, with really clever level design and tons of fleshed out features. Insane polish. What else would you expect from team bugulon?
