Fun short little puzzle game!

Fantastic! I really loved it, even though I couldn't solve the last 2 puzzles. Sooo good though, really satisfying and feels like a nice mix of Snakebird and Sokobon. I've been playing a lot of Baba is You so this was a nice little treat

I think what I find the most compelling about the presentation is the movement. The way the wire slips around is so satisfying to look at

Thank you - the movement is really quite simple: I’m “animating” all moveable objects every frame with a simple `pos += (target - pos) * 0.1` which has the effect of moving slower the closer the object is to the target position. I find this is more flexible than hard-coded tweening as the target position can move without needing to reset any tweens or anything like that and it just works.

Individual nodes on the wire are their own separate objects whose positions are used to render them as points in Godot’s Line2D primitive. I actually didn’t get it to move how I wanted but it’s a good shortcut; highly recommended!

Cool breakdown, thanks. The result here adds a lot of personality

Very nice Snake-style mechanics! With the addition of puzzles and figuring out how to position the plug correctly in relation to the light bulb, really nice! GJ! try our game and leave your feedback too :D

I like the puzzle design for the game and the mechanic is great! Movement reminded me a little of snakebird, which I guess is just snake in general. I can see it as a full game if that is something you choose to pursue, but either way great job!

Developer

Definitely was inspired by Snakebird :)

If it didn't have the undo button I would've rage quit level two LOL. Nice job! A very clean puzzle game with a lot of potential

A cute little puzzle game. The animation on the reset was slick. I didn’t realize how the “uncovered” wire worked at first, but then it clicked! That’s the moment you’re looking for in puzzle games so great job.

Nice idea! Quite nice to get the undo functionality, usually QoL features like that get scoped out in game jams but it made a real difference in the experience.

Great puzzle game! I can see a full game with different devices, all having unique mechanics!

I beat all the levels.

It's really really good. As someone else said, it's like sokoban and snake with some additional gimmicks. It has a lot of potential. I saw there was mechanics in place for chaining electricity together even and I love the double edged nature of electricity. Plus insulating it and strange wire lengths and stuff. It's very good and I'd love to see more happen with it.

Developer

Thank you for playing, and for the encouragement!

Really fun little puzzle game that reminds me of a mix between snake and sokoban!

Fun little puzzler to remind me I'm too dumb for puzzlers :D Cool entry, liked the mechanic.
