OOH this game is sooo cozy and the animations are so on point!! I love it!! The cats are so cute and the sounds are so on point. It always breaks my heart when I find the cats I missed as the wagon is being pulled away. :'( The game mechanic where hovering helps you out is also really interesting and adds an extra dimension to just the simple seek and click that the title suggests. Finally, I love that the game icon is actually the same as the game art style - I came for that art, and I was not disappointed. :)

This game is SO UNIQUE. I love the art style and the animations!! The controls are simple and easy to understand, and the intro cutscene is also really well-scripted. The storm chasing concept is also like none others that I have seen. Top marks!!!

Thanks so much for the suggestions!! After the jam, we’ll upload a version with improved UI and standardized dialogues.

For the potions, we thought the progress bar was intuitive enough to suggest that it takes time to brew a potion, but we could definitely add a tooltip to explain better. Also, dragging and dropping would for sure be a great feature - we wanted to reduce code complexity for the jam but we can definitely add this in given more time.

I’m so glad you had fun, and I’m looking forward to play yours as well!

That’s a record!! 🥹 Thanks for playing :))

Thank you!! It’s great to see your work too!!

Thanks for taking the time to leave such detailed comments!!

- For the time limit, we intended the game to be short so that it’s challenging enough. The time should be displayed in the upper right hand corner! You start with 3 minutes (180 seconds) and as you present offerings, the time limit increases. Typically, the first play-through will get you to understand the dynamics and the second round you will master it :)

- The incentive to brew the longer potions comes in the sense that you don’t need to sit there waiting for it to complete, and you can work on other things such as crafting in the meantime. (Games like Goodgame Empire have this inverse dynamic for coin collection.) However, we hear ya and we will definitely collect more feedback and reconsider this aspect!

We really appreciate your playthrough and thorough feedback - please let us know what you think about these points!

Wow!! What an AMAZING game! I played through all 19 levels. I don't even know where to begin...from the way the tutorial makes it super easy to understand the game, to the absolute perfection of music and sound effects, UI highlighting on selection, the automatic playbacks, the level design, the "recipes" feature, the blueprints it is SO polished...I cannot believe this was created during just 96 hours! I would love to play an even more extended version of this game if it was published on Steam. I also love that the final level combined everything we created in the past levels, amazingly summing up this absolute gem of a game!

All in all such an amazing job! This game is SOO FUN!! I literally spent 30 minutes to try to finish building it. As a note to anyone else who may play after I did, do NOT make the rookie mistake of building the front first. Gameplay-wise, at first I thought the controls were annoying (having to backtrack and then come back to pick stuff up or not being able to hold the keys down to move) but then I realized those were all just a part of the experience :) The graphics are super cute and the music is also very friendly! I am so impressed that it was developed by just one person in 48 hours. Finally, as grueling as it was sometimes, I would love to be Gird for a second day at work. (Please make another level!)

SUCH AN UNDERRATED GAME!! The sound effects match perfectly and the puzzles are so much fun, especially the last one. The art is also very clean and fits the vibe extremely well. The special cut scene at the end selecting "blissful" as the last word was lowkey such a sentimental moment for me and I really didn't want it to end. The concept of this game is also super positive - literally making everyone's day better and making the people around the angel happy. Please extend this game! I would love to play more!

Thank you so much!! (I love the art too lol) We actually intentionally removed a reference image since we wanted players to discover the image as they completed the pieces haha - kind of like in a Tangram gave where you have to guess how the pieces fit into place!

Yes please!!! Definitely checking this out :D

First of all, WOW I really love this concept and the game is so much fun!! It's so creative - building armor with scales. The gameplay would have been really enhanced if there was audio, but the art already speaks for itself. I came for the art style. Also, this is so my type of game. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get any fish haha so I could only build the default armor over and over (because I thought even that part was fun). If you have any tips on how to do the fishing, please let me know!

Such a cozy vibe! Most importantly, the graphics look amazing - professional actually. The sound effects also match super well with the game!

The art is SOOOOO CLEAN and the dialogue manager is quite nice! The gameplay is simple, easy to understand, and I definitely replayed it many times. Balancing scales is a really unique angle on the theme. I also really love the Egyptian theme! I notice that you guys used the Egyptian goddess of scales--my team actually had a really similar idea but had the Greek goddess of scales!

Ahh I see!! I just tried it with the tab and rotated the picture around a bit but couldn't manage to figure out how to escape haha

This game really takes a twist on scale (scaling a building) that few other games make use of!! I like the easter egg bear image found in the trees. I'm so glad that the game has reset checkpoints. My heart literally dropped when I thought I was going to fall out of the tree to very bottom.

The game animation is super polished, and I really like all the graphics and art! It's soo my style with the defined borders. I also really like how the controls are snappy and don't have lag in a physics way - this makes it so much crisper to play. The game objective is also super clear, and easy to understand even without reading any instructions!

The art style is super cute!!! The space bar controls weren't activating anything for me (except the music volume maybe?), but I could see how this game's concept could be really good!

The graphics are really neat, and the pixelated font is super cool! It's really satisfying to collect pieces and see the spaceship scale up. The music also matches really well with the vibe of the game. I think the title of the game is really clever too! Movement-wise sometimes I ventured too far and lost track of where the turret was lol. I think the elections/goodwill part of the gameplay adds an interesting strategic element to the game, which I really liked.

The audio works really well with the vibe of the game, and I really like the art style!! One detail I really like is the way the houses grows legs as posts when you place them on a higher level so that they are not hovering.

This game is so much fun!!! You have no idea how many times I replayed to try to get a higher percentage for the heist. The highest I managed to get was 87.5%. The implementation of the in-game drawing board is so impressive! One thing is that I would have wanted to have a better view of my drawing. Sometimes the pixels I drew were too far up on the screen. Also, I wish the final board was in topdown rather than orthographic view as it would have been easier to see where I am placing items. These are small things though, and don't affect the overall uniqueness and fun of the game! I think this game is a really interesting twist on the theme of scale though. There is a lot of attention to detail - the Oms when clicking, the ability to change game sensitivity, and the ironic dialogue of the characters. Really well done!

P.S. I didn't realize that measuring distances were possible until I saw the screenshots after.

Wow this game really tested my coordination! The way that you need to determine the right size of the wheel in order to get through sections of the game was quite creative. (My box kept getting stuck diagonally because I didn't use enough force haha.) The physics must have been quite difficult to program. On the other hand, I second Loupystudio's comment that it would be nice to have the controls explained. I also wish there was audio for this, and I would have liked to use a restart button on the page.

I really like how well the game plays with the theme of the jam. Having huge ants is really something! I wish there was a way to play the game again without refreshing the browser, but overall it was quite fun! It reminds me of Mario Kart in the way that things are randomly spawned. Also, the graphics are super cute! Another thing is that I like how tricky it is that the bubbles switch up right when you get close - I keep getting caught off guard.
