Thanks for playing! The FF7 soundtrack was definitely used for inspiration when making songs.

This is cute! It was a little tricky for me to find the right pace to climb. If I went too far up, I couldn't see, and if I stayed in the center of the screen, I would be left behind once things start to pick up. But overall, I think it's a lovely game and it makes me think of what else could be added. I can see this doing well on mobile too, like a new doodle jump.
This was charming! Reminds me of that Club Penguin game. I did run into a little trouble finding out how far away I needed to drop the ice cream for it to count. When things picked up, I sometimes wouldn't see what I needed to add to the order until it was halfway across the screen too. It probably doesn't help that I'm using a trackpad though, so that's on me.
Hey all, I'm a professional TV/social media producer and editor with 7 years experience working for a well known international media company. I'm looking to get more into producing for video games.
I'd like to be a producer on a team with some fellow New Yorkers for this jam. I've made and released a few small games for game jams both on my own (Rock Skipper 2000 on my page) and as part of a small team (nunfuel.itch.io). I have an understanding of what it takes to go from inception to release, and how to keep scope realistic. The challenge of adding full motion video to a workflow is really appealing to me, and I'd like to help a team manage their time and resources.
Besides project management, I can help capture footage on set in NYC, key out the subjects recorded on green screen, create custom sound effects and music, and be a sounding board for developing your own ideas. I also do a little pixel art animation, but that seems less relevant for this jam in particular.
This game jam looks more involved than others I've been a part of, and I'd like to help a team realize their goals. Let me know if you want to collab!
PS - I posted this to the discord as well if anyone wants to chat there.
So this is a bit tangental to love and Valentine's Day, but the idea of skipping rocks came to me because it seems like something someone might do on a date, or something someone would do when they're feeling lonely. I hope everyone enjoys. It's a little tricky to get the hang of, but when my friends playtested it they seemed to get better over time and figure out strategies that work for them.
