There isn't a download yet, but I thought I should get a store page up with Steam and Gamejolt! If it looks interesting, you can either follow my itch.io, or wishlist it on Steam; and you'll be notified when it's released! Thanks for your time, I'm happy to have you here.

(the Steam page: store.steampowered.com/app/2845740/Bunches_For_Bart/)

Nice, I hope you enjoy it! Good luck! o7

Can only happen so many times! :-D

Aww, thank you, friend, I appreciate it! :D

Please do, I'd love to see that! :0

I've got no clue in reality, but if you're recording footage through to the end of the thing, it might make more sense to cobble it together then! I don't think there's anything stopping you from posting every day, but honestly it may work better if you stuck it all in a video afterwards. (it's what I'm looking to do!)

There really aren't any rules on the subject, from everything I can tell, so do what you will! :D

Well (from what I can tell), rather than uploading a build of the game, Windows or WebGL, you need to upload a zip file containing your project folder inside of it: this way, future participants can download and continue work on your game! Otherwise, you'll have a playable game on the site of course, but nobody will be able to update it in the future. :0

Here's an exclusively 2D developer's attempt at a VR game! And a VR fangame at that! (now that deserves a download, I must say xD)

Of course I'm not your typical VR developer, but I'd love it if you gave my game a try, if you've got the hardware to do it! Rest assured I'm getting back to my last project now, but I'm happy to have learned how to do this -- you can be positive it's not the last time, haha.

(forgot to say, but yes, that is my brother again)

Aww, thanks for playing my game! I will say though, what you ran into at the end was a softlock (:P)! I ended up being unable to test my build before submitting it to the jam, and because patches aren't availible until after ratings, I just brought it over to Gamejolt instead. I've got the link here, but know this version leaves out an entire other level! :'D

I don't have a whole lot to say about this game, but congratulations for getting anything out for a submission, good job! Otherwise, I can't say I loved it very much -- there were chunks I enjoyed, definitely, but overall I think it needed a lot of foundational changes. When it comes to the main idea of the game, I think it could be neat to switch ammunition to deal damage to certain enemies, but with how easy it is to avoid them, and the fact that it's impossible to tell them apart, it makes the core mechanic redundant, in my opinion. I think for the most part, it would've been fixed if you had given the different demons different appearances, so at a glance you could switch to the right weapon, along with making them a bit taller and giving some cooldown to the weapons (:3)! I liked the idea of having two different paths, platforming, and battling, but they seem so at odds with each other. When you're choosing one path, you have to stick with it -- there's no inbetween or overlap -- and when it comes to platforming, one mistake and it forces you to fight, and doesn't give you a chance to get back on track. There are some good ideas here, and I do recommend you keep working on things like this, even if I didn't like this the most; you've got this, just keep on working at it, I loved the music, it made everything twice as epic, good job! xD

Awww, thank you, I appreciate it, I'm glad my efforts paid off! :>

That was nice, good job! I didn't find any of the puzzles particularly challenging (probably would've been fixed by making the difficulty curve longer, IE: more levels), but they made me use my brain, and I enjoyed what I got to play through! It was an interesting take on the theme, I really do wish it were longer, but what was there definitely was well made! I give you a congratulations for finishing, I hope you've got a few more ideas in ya, cause this would be fun to play, even on a slightly bigger scale (I'm not sure it would work perfectly as a full game, unless you have a lot of variety in mind, but even just a post-jam update would be neat :3)!

I'll check back on this if there's actually anything else to do (I'm not sure if I'm just missing an obvious level boundary or not), but even if there isn't, this is a good tech demo, I'd say! I'm always a fan of the vibe of Pico8 games, with Celeste classic and the like, and even with just a few platforms, the art/animation and sound effects really did a good job conveying that same feeling! Please tell me if I'm missing something, but this was interesting either way! ;P

That was great, good job! I'm gonna echo what everyone else is saying, but I think the difficulty needs a bit of a rework. I didn't come away feeling frustrated, and I did really enjoy it all in all, but there were jumps that felt unnecessarily difficult to pull off, and mixed with the slightly longer (compared to a screen by screen game like Celeste) levels, it made some bits just tedious. I really like the way it feels to control this guy, though. The squash n stretch on the duck animation is fabulous, the art throughout, while on the simpler side, does it's job really really well, the music adds so much more than you would expect. I will say, Outer Wilds has taught me black holes attract and white holes repell, the mechanic works really nicely here. There were a few jumps where they clashed and made it hard to escape their pulls, but overall, nice work, keep it up! :3

(I wish itch jams had half star ratings like LD, cause it's forcing me to rate a lot lower than I usually would -- this is my first time outside of Ludum Dare, and it feels really strange to have to rate it outta 5 :P)

Nice job, I enjoyed that! The presentation was really nice, the 1-bit style, good use of sound effects, the music that reminded me of "Dire Dire Docks" from SM64 (just the floatyness of the melody if you get what I mean); just all-around really great job! I do have a few complaints, personally, but whatever I say next, this is a superb result for 2 weeks! I found it EXTREMELY easy to lose your way, it took me two attempts to find all of the items, and even when I did, I just felt lucky, not particularly like I found my own way. I only finished it the second time after discovering the "Super Jump", that allowed me to skip between planets way way easier than without it. The compass seems like it could be useful for finding a path, but I really didn't find much of a reason to; I think it would've been helpful to mark the nearest items on the compass and force you to find your way to them, in that direction. The little bits of dialogue were funny, I enjoyed playing through it, but wayfinding is just too difficult right now. Great great job, thank you for hosting this jam, it was really interesting to see the creator make a game among everyone else! Keep it up, this is neat!

Yeah, whoopsies, my bad! There was a whole 'nother level after that, unfortunately (xD)! I published at the last minute without being able to test my submission, but my little sister just tried it, and a world of problems was revealed. I'm glad you liked it anyway! I promised a janky experience, but hopefully I'll be able to patch it in just a few minutes! >:P

You can be sure I'm trying to! Things are actually looking pretty good for me being able to finish after all-- I just need to be absurdly fast! xD

I may not be finishing in time, but I definitely participated, and I'll be sure to link my game here when it's finished! I scoped a bit too high for how much time I was able to spend on Unity these last two weeks, but I should be able to finish here in the next few days! Nearly there, I hope you all were able to achieve something you're proud of. If I'm SOMEHOW able to finish tomorrow, I'll be sure to upload it, but already I'm planning on publishing it to my GameJolt account instead -- God bless you, everyone! Have a great night, here's some images to mark my progress!

I'll still try my best to play through some of your games as well, even if I can't rate them!!!
