After I defeated the boss, he handed me the lantern, and I made the mistake of running into him and it automatically killed me! Also rather than knockback when hit , there should be some kind of invincibility because otherwise once you get hit once the knockback doesn't allow you to move and you get stuck in his beams that he shoots. But great art !
Just released the demo of my game Wandering Wilderness! Only for windows right now! It is about an adventurer bringing back the earth goddess! Please donate so I can buy gaming pc.
It was rly nice and the bullet patterns and audio were fun! The background was a little distracting and the player blended in with it but the chains helped me see him. The artwork though it could have been improved, fit. You managed to slap together 2 polar opposite themes which was also nice to see! This is a pretty cool submission. Great work!
It's good and I'm happy you added a halo around him so we can see him better. i just felt that the text and just blends in with the background making it hard to see. Plus, the tiles seem really distracting so It's hard to focus on the player. But other than that the physics of the ball are REALLY clean and the way you show weight on the player is really nice. Overall great submission@
I love every single thing about this you managed to make an undertale type rpg with all sorts of cool stuff! Sometimes I got annoyed with how many times I died during the fight with those skeletons and the doors. But that's because I'm bad at these games and it's what happens when you put together too opposite concepts confined and bullet hell. But the movement feels smooth, and everything looks and sounds great!
Really creative and unique! There could have been better polish, audio, etc. But what you've released is finished and really fun it is a really good strategy bullet hell. Also, when I was trying to x out the tab my mouse was stuck in the windows and I had to do many alternatives to get my mouse out of the window. Other than that, great work!
I really love how fun and engaging the game is! What I just don't understand is why is there a vampire in a coffin floating through outer space? That part didn't make sense to me. But you took some UHEM *artistic liberties* so to speak. I love the explosion effects as well as the many bosses and the way the light on the coffin changes as you move, and it tilts in certain directions gives it a wholesome feel. One thing to say is the player has the same bullet color as the enemies. :( I said this in a few other reviews, I really feel that the color contrast between player, enemy, environment should be very different in a bullet hell because otherwise without that color signal It's hard to tell who's bullets are who's. Also, the art style is really inconsistent Other than that, this game is smashing and I hope you guys keep making games ! Also, I'd love if you rated mine!
Such beautiful artwork I almost thought this was a triple A game! It was feeling a little empty without any bg music and some sfx for when I complete a wave would be good. Another thing is if you're using ASD for controls it would have been great if W key was jump because then I don't have to move my fingers as much and it is more natural. I love how fun and beautiful this game is and honestly, this has really inspired me to try unity. This is seriously underrated for such a great game! Keep doing what you're doing and great work!
Really cool ideas and clean bullet patterns! Its hilarious that you can destroy the title image by shooting at it :). Just one thing is the bullet slightly look like stars so at first I thought they were powerups and I flew right into them on purpose :{ It's a fun game and has all the core bullet hell ideals I believe in when rating a bullet hell! PS. My game is this one: Rate Guns 'n Droids by Shades of Dark for Bullet Hell Jam 2022 - itch.io
