Thanks for the comments, I definitely plan on adding a few more things after the jam to make it more entertaining hopefully

I like the idea of a visual indicator when you get a match, great idea. I did plan on implementing the crank for fast vertical scrolling also button pressing so you can really zip around the playfield.

I like the leveling idea, I was planning on incorporating a timer but that takes it to the next level…🤦‍♂️

I also have several different card backs and backgrounds that I made so that would work well with the leveling.

Thanks for all the comments and playing. I’ll get all of this stuff sorted after the jam!

Yeah sorry about that, I hadnt tried sideloading it via the web. I'll put a note in the description for now. I'll get that fixed after the jam. I plan on updating all the things and adding some additions that I couldnt get to after the jam. Thanks for the kind words Rae!

Yeah music and sound effects are at the top of my list

Yeah I had never done sound on the playdate before, so a sound track and effects will come out after the jam.  I like the idea of a little chime when you make a good selection. I have an idea for a few modes too.

I basically have it checking for a win on every frame. This was quick and dirty but I agree a proper game controller would eliminate the need for that. I'll definitely work on adding that.

I got various card backs you can unlock and different backgrounds, just never got around to implementing that. Love the feedback!

I'll get that fixed after the jam. I should have tried sideloading via their website. I just plugged my device in.

Definitely would help keeping people coming back. Always gotta beat that high score!

I enjoyed walking around and picking up all the little story elements

Some kind of indicator or sound to know you picked up an item would have been helpful. I like the idea of being given a shopping list and then trying to remember to get all the items on the list and take it to the checkout.

Cool idea, I definitely forgot the drawing on many occasions. There is a lot going on with the sub menu stuff, but over all very solid. You sure managed to cram a lot in here in such a tight timeframe. Nicely done! The win animations were great too!

Very solid take on Simon Says, I also enjoyed the music. Nice job!

I had some of the most fun with this game in the jam. Something about seeing how far I could make my stick bridge go and at times getting my stick spinning as fast as I could down it, had me coming back. Well done!

Really enjoyed the act of shredding some digital documents more than I expected. I liked the little paper shreds and sound effects. Being able to turn on auto-shred, somehow made the shredding even better.

The voice over was a great touch, I agree with paulstraw, I wish I saw my score at the end but this was a fun little distraction, nice work.

The doodles were neat touch. Great use of the crank and the little sound effects for things. I like the just one more aspect I get with trying to see how far I can get without writing anything done. That hook worked like a charm, well done!

The missile command gameplay really took me back. Nice work, I love the card with the saluting playdate

I really enjoyed this one. Pretty creative use of the crank, loved the music and the graphics were top notch! Cracked up at a few of the quips she made from the pool. The lose screen was *chefs kiss

Pretty creative use of the crank for the mad lib selection. Really enjoyed the aesthetics  and seeing what combos I could make for my word salad at the end

All I can say is damn. I couldnt figure out how to make a recipe, but I had a big stupid grin after stoking the fire and trying. Fantastic use of all the playdate features, on top of that great graphics and killer music. Well done!

Graphics are on point as usual Rae,  really enjoyed the spin on Simon Says.

Very creative idea, really nice tile design!
