I love the graphics! Simple but effective. The food pills were a tiny bit too small for my liking but excellent game. Not using wasd or arrows for controls made it much more interesting. I could only make it to 20

Level 6 is tricky, it requires thinking a bit outside the box. Let's just say that boxes aren't unique in their ability to be pushed...

Yeah, the short time period left quite a few bugs in which you can exploit, so I think the current world record is 6.4s by me

Very nice

this is so much fun

Thank you very much for the kind words! As I think I mentioned in another comment, I think I'll do a post jam with new and improved art, levels, and maybe even a custom level maker. Thanks a lot for the feedback! If you'd like to help, I'd love your opinions on a beta version of the post jam game when I get around to making one, you seem to be pretty knowledgeable in this genre!

Very fun! I was expecting to have manage the cats forever, it was a relief when the ambulance showed up!

Powerups were fun and original, well done!

Very fun little game. Only complaint is it would have been nice for moving sideways to actually move sideways, as opposed to slightly moving up like it does.

Very fun little memory test. Is there an end?

What exactly frustrated you with hitboxes? Thanks for the kind words!

You should be able to use R to restart

Apologies, I did try to explain on the game page. You can use the R key to restart, and the door only opens when all the red blocks are destroyed

Thanks for the kind words! Definitely looking at making a post-jam edition with more levels, mechanics, polish and maybe even a level editor!

Thank you for the kind words! Yeah, I kinda ran out of time for music unfortunately. Planning to make a polished post-jam edition though!

Managed to softlock myself on round 52 when a "expand the board" event came up and the board was already fully unveiled. Other than that, excellent job, really like it.

Very tricky! Maybe I missed something

Very well done! Jumps feel slightly off, but it's a small matter

Very fun. The physics can be a little strange at times but that's part of the charm!

Nice and fast paced. I like the syle.

Nicely done!

Really nice game. I don't quite get why the game over screen pops up sometimes, but it's nicely polished and looks and feels good.

Very fun little game! I'd love to have had a bit more of an indication as to how far away the Ooze was. I'd love to play the post-jam edition!

The invisible maze made me give up. funny little game

I wish I could put it in the box

Really helpful! Was doing a 3h game jam and these sounds saved my life. If you'd like to try it, you can play it here. Thank you so much!

beautiful little game. I'd happily buy a full version on steam if you'd ever think of making one

Fun little game! Only criticism is it needs a "Restart" button
For anyone else reading this: Once you've beaten the dev time (1:01), try to beat my best time, which is 33s. It'll require some thinking outside the box :)

Beat the first level in 40s, fun little game. Is it only one level so far?

I'm sorry for your loss. Thank you for allowing others to come out with stories by making it a game jam like this. Right when I needed to get stuff out of my head, you've granted me an avenue to do so. Thank you.

What's the world record? I got 2265
