thank you!
oh, you're right! I didn't notice this gap between wall and floor, thanks for letting me know!^^
haha, yeah, I didn't have enough time again to make sth cooler for the last part :') Btw, did you find the glowing white door there? (You might need to scan around after you fall from stairs)
maybe I'll be able to do sth more polished in the future lol
majority of the textures (and 3D assets) are from https://polyhaven.com/, very cool site! I think I also got some textures from https://3dtextures.me/
I liked the atmosphere! Loved how the next stages were introduced in darkness, appearing after turning around
Took me a while to figure out the mini game, but after some trials I got to the end 😅
Tbh I didn't expect the ending (and maybe I'm not sure why did that happen) but I was definitely intrigued with the story when food started to appear
Overall very well polished game, good job!!
I really liked the atmosphere in town created by voices of the npcs, really eerie
I was kinda confused in the beginning about what to do, but everything was clear once I found additional instructions in pause menu
Walking around town was little monotonous; but I really liked the visuals and vibe of the hidden room
Btw, I noticed you made your game in Flax engine, I'm curious how did you like it? I haven't used it yet, but I'm thinking about alternatives for unity:p
Thank you!! Oh, you are right! I've played Eté demo some time ago but I completely forgot about it haha, but it's really pretty
Speaking of mechanics, I think the one that was biggest inspiration for me was Catacombs of Solaris - it uses similar technique of rendering screen capture on 3D objects, except it's quite abstract and more experimental
oh hey, I made a horror game too!

will check your game out tomorrow!
oooh it's such a good game! I love the puzzle mechanic, puzzle design and graphics, which may look simple, but they're so polished!
Puzzles are really well thought out, and the level of polish is so good! Those normal maps on the edges, tiny particles when hitting wall, and the screen shake haha
As a person who happened to design one or 2 puzzle games, I really like this work!
Hey! Here's mine:

It's a short horror game about unveiling world with projector-like scanning mechanic
Hope you like it:)
I think the most literal reference to the theme in my game is the 'simple' monster BUT I like to think there's another one: the way surroundings are rendered! I've implemented projector-like scanning mechanic that takes screenshot and renders it on objects, creating creepy, distorted and *aberrated* (lol) visuals
Here's a link if you wanna try

Oh, here's mine: it's a short horror game with projector-like scanning mechanic I'm really happy with!

(Ah, and to start a game - just click LMB, I forgot to add a prompt)

Thank you! Yeah, pipe is little bugged :') It may happen when you stop for a little when you hear sliding sound; I believe if you try walk all the time, without stopping it should be fine?
Also sorry for low fps's! Didn't have time to properly optimize it 😅
Btw, what's your graphics card? Maybe I'll find sth similar to properly test game
