Ooh that’s a very clever idea. So unique and well implemented. Very nice job!

Gobot’s very cool! I liked the game, even though I’ve seen many games based on scaling the main character. I’m not a fan but it’s a nice little jam.

Can’t believe you made all that cool art in 2 days, good job! I enjoyed the game loop even though sometimes I’ve found it a bit too punishing, but it’s just me! Sometimes it’s a bit laggy (maybe because of my PC) but it’s very funny to play!

Thanks for playing! I’ve added a link to the solution. It’s a shame we managed to make 5 levels but no one can even complete the first. :’)

I enjoyed this game very much. I liked the idea and even more how it’s concrteized. The only very small thing I would fix, other than bug, is that the replay of the bullet let you see also the 30 bullets you shot to the wall. Maybe seeing only the ones that hit something would improve it but as I said it’s a very small thing. Good job!

At this point, I think no one ever passed the first level, to be honest. I’m sure we set the difficulty too high for the first level, we’ll keep that in mind in the next game jam. Thanks for playing though!

As a hint: you should try to sacrifice one of your cherries to trap him, keep in mind that you only can sacrifice one so you should leave the other alive.

The best one I’ve played so far, I enjoyed it very much. It’s incredible that you managed to complete this masterpiece in such a short amount of time. The game is fun and challenging and gives the exact amount of assistance to learn the mechanics. Beautiful!

Gameplay

I like the concept and art. I didn’t understand if there was a limit to how many enemies you can spawn. It seems to be 2 but I don’t read that anywhere so I was confused. If the limit is 2, seems like you can keep spawning the most expensive enemies without worrying about their cost and, even if you do that, doesn’t seem to do much more damage than the cheapest one.

Accessibility

Sometimes the game crashed but the thing that most annoyed me was the fact that I couldn’t mute the sound. When you hit the mute button, appears an image that covers the entire screen and you can’t do anything else other than listen to the music, maybe one can think that it is fun but I think it only makes the game less accessible.

For sure, overall, it’s a nice game made in a so time-limited game jam.

Thanks for the feedback, unluckily the fact that the first level is hard hides other mechanics that are present in the next levels. The first level itself is fairly easy if you find the right spot but it’s a bit too hard to be a first level. Thanks for playing!

Maybe a bit too descriptive. Would be nice to see some level where you learn the mechanics with an increasing height learning curve instead of having everything described.

Thanks for the feedback, we just assumed it was obvious since recalls a bit of “snake” but should be more clear on what’s the objective. We added a message at the start of every level but maybe it’s not enough. Thanks for playing!

Nice gameplay! I would have liked a cooler artwork with variation in colors maybe.

You are right, I feel also that the concept could involve something to make it less trial-and-error. Thanks for playing and thanks for your opinion.

Sorry, I missed that :D

Very funny one, I only miss a restart button.

It’s nice but I think I missed something because I don’t know what to do with what I’m gathering.

It seems you don’t lose anything if you haven’t built yet anything. So if you accumulate enough to escape you just need to run on your ship whenever they attack you and that’s easy if the bots are far. Nice one, even if a little bit short.

Nice 8-bit style game.

Very nice art, the only way to go ahead is with luck and randomness? I would have liked it if there was some skill-based option with the random phases.

I enjoyed it a lot but I don’t see very much the theme, well done though!

Very nice one, I didn’t manage to win but also I didn’t loose, the game went on for a couple of minute, I think I’ve missed something :D

Very funny one, I didn’t understand exactly what happened after defeating my enemy, my life points were still low. It does not start another match with full health?

Thank you very much, it’s sad that we hadn’t enough time to make it even harder, with special platforms we could have increased the difficulty a bit.

Nice one, don’t like too much how the theme is in the game but is a nice game :)

I like the idea but the fact that you don’t have control over anything makes it a little bit too luck-driven.

Nice one, honestly I have seen many games not any close fun to this and with a rate much higher. Good job!

This would be nice to see how can be improved with new buildings and a goal to achieve.
