I've played a couple games with a similar idea this jam, I really liked this one! Felt very smooth and polished. I could see myself playing this for a while, I wish there were more levels! Nice idea with the different difficulty levels as well.

I really like the art, the enemies have a lot of character - especially the swaggering walk of the cards. I appreciate that you can re-roll rather than just waste money on an unlucky roll.It would be nice to be able to see the enemies health, and I feel the poker chips move a bit too fast (not a lot of chance to react when they're about to get through).

Overall pretty fun!

Thank you! I appreciate the bug report, I think I managed to find the issue :)

Yeah that is true, I'd like to add more enemy types for the future to increase the difficulty as you progress. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing :)

Thanks so much! I'm definitely keen to flesh this out a bit more, thanks for the feedback!

Doh! Yeah I need to find a way to make it possible to get out when you're cornered like that. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback! That's a really nice idea about making it a puzzle game, I might actually give that a go! The goblins continuing to come towards you when you roll into the wall is definitely an oversight on my part, I agree it makes the game way too easy.

Amazing work for 48 hours! The art is amazing, and the game feels very nice to play (great feedback on attacks etc.)

I was a bit confused to begin with - I kept getting hit / dying while using my attack, it feels like there should be invincibility frames while attacking but that may just be me.

Love the art in this!

This was really fun, ended up playing it for quite a while! I really like this interpretation of the theme, and being able to reposition the towers ended up creating some really fun / frantic situations trying to get the dice in a good position when I was about to die.

A bit more control over the direction of the dice might be good (e.g. with the cursor) but that's a minor nitpick. The difficulty at the beginning was nice - but it begins to taper off a bit as you progress.

I really enjoyed playing this, great job!

The spikes, the jump and laser were the ones that killed me most. Rocket got me a few times as well, but plasma and speed probably need a buff.

Hey this is pretty cool, some of those shapes were a real struggle to place! As Ragtag mentioned it took a minute to get used to re-rolling and placing at the same time. Also thanks for explaining what pip means at the end, I was getting confused as to why so many games had 'pip' in the name haha.

This was pretty fun! Not very interesting visually, but the puzzles were pretty challenging, I think there's loads of potential here.

Fun game, reminds me of Mario Party! I did find the controls slightly awkward, would be nice if I could use WASD rather than arrow keys.

Cool concept! I enjoyed the puzzles, lots of potential there. I did have an issue where I fell through the floor and had to restart.

Really well presented, and lots of variety in the levels. Great polish for a jam game!

This was really fun, I like this interpretation of the theme, and cool title! The art style was very cool too, the level transition animation was great! Some of the abilities were less effective that others, I ended up dying to the same few each time.

Also not really part of the game, but the presentation of the itch page is very nice!

Fun game! Got stuck on my second play through against the slime after it got to  ~40 shield haha. I liked the sound effects :)

Very cool idea and quite challenging! The puzzles were well thought out, some nice variation there to keep things interesting.

I thought the music was good. Art style was very simple but effective.

One minor thing I noticed was I was able to move through some of the walls on level 2-1, not sure if that was intentional.

Pretty fun! The art style is great and the game feels very polished. The character controls well too. I liked the tutorial, it was well done & a nice touch.

Thanks for playing! Fair point about the difficulty - some different enemy types / more obstacles (traps maybe) in later levels would spice things up a bit.

Thanks for playing! I appreciate the feedback - I'll definitely add a UI to see the adjacent sides once the jam is over. I like the idea of consuming the abilities after each level - definitely adds some challenge / more strategizing on how to use each one.
