This game is cool! One to follow, definitely. I think conceptually you've got a 10/10 game here, execution is getting there but still at like a 6. Keep up the good work!

Omg this dev tried to do a Super Metroid? and it WORKED??? holy cow this owns, A World Abandoned more like My Spare Time Abandoned

I LOVE THIS GAME!! The graphical improvements have me floored!!

SUPER ACCURATE to the type of game I never used to have the patience for as a kid. I've never been more grateful that my tastes have changed as an adult!

I sure did catch some apples! Can't say I didn't.

The vibe is right on!! VERY cute, VERY 90s! Bugs aside, I enjoyed what Chefpocalypse brings to the table

Physics!! I remember games like this. This is right on the money!

Okay!! The lowpoly assets and particle effects are a good start, you could chase that retro vibe by working to disable or undo a couple of the lighting and physics effects that Unreal Engine activates by default. But you're getting somewhere!

ANOTHER TECHNICAL MARVEL! wow!! and the game itself is pretty good to boot!

omfg this one is such a technical hat-trick I'm like "whoaaaa"

Big improvement! The slippy floor was a simple yet elegant design choice.

Cute graphics and music! Seemed... heartfelt. I liked it.

Reasonably 90s! Although I was a little bit lost. I got a bunch of swords tho, and liked wiggling around

You guys worked so hard on this and it SHOWS! It was my great pleasure to playtest this one before release, so I might be biased. But this is like, my new favorite shump fr

10/10

WOW what a game! This one is sick!! It's so polished and professional looking! You clearly have a rock-solid understanding of what made the Resident Evil games appealing, but also just what makes for a harrowing adventure, which BioCrisis is in its own right. I'll take notes!

IT'S BACK AGAIN! PyraMazze continues to make great strides. I love the control scheme and the way your round shadow is programmed! Mostly. I'd actually like to pick your brain about it in DMs, if you don't mind. Either way this submission slaps, as always!

Well gee whiz! I can see you've made a big step here, so great job! I look forward to seeing where you go with your new power

meow!! good choice on your assets and theme here. I'd prioritize getting better music, but this is a fine proof of concept!

wow this one's FUN! I'm super impressed by the graphics! The whole aesthetic styling of this game, the pixel art, the menus, the Poe quote, the SKYBOX!! What the Road Brings is a slam dunk.

hand-drawn everything, I like it. very punk! I appreciate the bits of extra polish, like menus and multiple characters! Also I would urge you to spring for the full version of Game Maker, or maybe branch out into other engines that don't put such a big watermark over the game screen.

As with all of the great browser games of the 1990s, I found myself saying "just one more try. just one more try. okay just ONE more try...!" a lot. This one's got teeth!

this one slaps! I was impressed by the graphics, soundtrack, and atmosphere and the physics, and just like in all the classic 90s racing games I could barely drive in it and ran out of time. You recreated the experience to a T! 5 stars

just because something reminds you more of shockwave and neopets more than sega and playstation, doesn't mean it's not 90's!

you say "welcome to the cursed and haunted things store" and I say "I'M IN!"

I love all the lore!! and that there's a dedicated nap button. 10/10 game design and cute pixel art too

I like the concept at play here! and collecting particles always feels good so nice going!

Thank you VERY MUCH for the kind words so far, everyone!! ;A; I promise to work hard on the game's continued development!

Thank you for the kind words! I've put in a lot of work to improve the game since the Jam's ending, and we're planning an update with gameplay fixes and improvements very soon. Your support and encouragement means a lot to everyone here at Slowed Minds

Thanks for playing!

So glad that the sentient fruit game turned out THIS good omg

This one's soooo relaxing <3

VERY cool!!

Thank you for the comment! We truly appreciate the feedback. The intro having extra text on respawn is an unfortunate bug that I thought I had fixed :x did you play the latest build?

We do like an air of mystery, but an intro animation that does explain more about the skulls is on the to-do list for version 1.0 (among other things). I'll keep the game page updated!

Thanks for playing!

I love this game! You nailed the 90s 32-bit feel. The sprint jump is soooo satisfying. I can't wait to see where you take this project!

Eerie! I had fun. Loved the atmosphere

This one is tough, but fair. Had me coming back for more!

This is tense! You nailed the graphics imo

Loved the characters and 90's aesthetic effects! Batsy is so cute!!
