The wall running can be difficult but when it does work is actually feels sooo good. If you can somehow make the wallrunning consistently good it will be a really good mechanic. I also wouldn't recommend right-click for a web game because it sometimes makes it switch to other tabs, (maybe that's just my computer though).

Anyway, it's a great start and has lots of potential.
Good job!

This game is great! Good level design, fitting music, and the different powers are really great. Two things that would probably be good to change is the controls, make it roll in the direction of the jar rather than the camera, and the spotlights can see you even if you are out of the spotlight which is quite annoying.

Other than those two things though, this is really solid game.
Great Job!

It's a very interesting concept and done well. The graphics and music a good as well. My biggest gripe is the jump failing if you touch anything while you jump. I also got stuck in the map because I switched level while jumping above it :)

Regardless, this is still a great game and its really polished as well.
Great job!

That was really good! Its a good story especially the twist at the end. Something I found quite funny is that I managed to jump over the "impossible jump" because of how ridiculously high you jump.

Good Job!

Really nicely done! It's a great concept and you pulled it off nicely. I had a lot of fun playing this. And the graphics and music are great as well. A couple suggestions for post jam improvements are a way to restart the level, and a way to set checkpoints so the robot respawns there, (at the yellow tiles maybe).

Even without those it is still a great game. Good Job!

The concept behind this is really good, especially the bashing part. The graphics and music are awesome. My biggest gripe is the difficulty. I think one of the main things that makes it hard is the jump. At the speed the player is moving it is hard to jump before the player leaves the platform which make the long jumps really really hard. Making it so that you can jump for a few milliseconds after leaving the ground would probably fix that problem.

Other than being really difficult this game is really good and definitely has a ton of potential if you make it a bit easier at the beginning. Great Job!

Really nicely done! The first time I played I tried deleting nearly everthing I saw which was really fun. I restarted and actually tried to explore a bit. The graphics are nice, although the creatures' heads are ... interesting. Overall I really liked it.

Great Job!

It took quite a while to work out what was going on and even now I'm not sure that I understand it. The music was great and so was the level design. The graphics are also really nice.

Other than it being quite confusing at the beginning this is really well done.

The graphics are pretty good, but it doesn't fit the theme. It is a complete game though which is good. Overall it's pretty good except that it doesn't fit the theme.

That was really good! I loved it! It fit the theme perfectly. Really great job

Cool concept. It took a while for me to get the idea and a lot of the time I was just sitting there pressing space waiting for the cube or triangle to turn to the side I wanted. Also at the one point it walked over different colors when I shouldn't be able to. That made me think, what if each square had two identifiers on it, a symbol for example, and you could walk onto a different square if it had the same color or the same symbol.

Overall good game with a lot of potential. Good Job!

The music and environment was really nice. It could have been a bit more chaotic, maybe the deer could fight back if multiple of them were cornered at once because I did that a few times and then I couldn't separate them easily. If they fought back it would make it so I had to be more careful about making sure to isolate just one deer. I also think the camera movement should have waited until the mouse was closer to the edge of the screen, or else just had wasd controls.

Other than that it's really nice, especially the art. Great Job!

The graphics look really great! As for the gameplay, it's really hard to shoot the enemy ships because I have to stand in their line of fire to shoot and they shoot so fast. It would have been great if you could turn your ship rather than just pointing straight up. Or like Eric said, having different enemy fire patterns.

Really great job on the art though!

The graphics was really good, but the gameplay was confusing. My fingers kept getting twisted together and it was hard to press the controls I wanted to. I guess I'm just too used to normal WASD.

Very Nice. I liked the pixel art graphics style. It got chaotic very quickly and I couldn't really keep up with the asteroids past 20. I think it could have been better if you just shot rockets towards where the mouse is rather than having to click two things to shoot a rocket.

Other than that, Great Job!

This is really really good! I love the idea of hippos going to space, especially the way you mixed it with 'CHAOS'. This game is really fun to play, and I really appreciate that it saves my progress so that I can come back to it later. The hippo's expressions is a really nice touch.

Great Job!

(1 edit)

Very nice! The idea is very interesting and results in a very chaotic chessboard especially on turnless mode. I really like how everything on the board can be pushed around. The main thing I think could be done better would be a better indicator of turn because sometimes the AI can make really small movements and then I don't realize that it's my turn again, especially because sometimes it can be hard to click the pieces.

It really is idea and a great game. Very good job!

Edit: the other thing that would be really great is something that lists the properties of the different pieces such as movement.

This game is amazing!! The graphics are absolutely incredible. It took a few tries for me to get good at it but then it was really fun. It would have been nice if there was some more instructions for the overworld so that I could understand what was going on, especially in the last overworld fight. The other thing that could have been a bit better would be if the boss fights were longer/harder. After the overworld, the boss fights seemed really short.

I found a couple bugs:

- Restarting from the last night seems to break the game.

- The doughnuts on the muffin island sometimes wouldn't shoot back.

Other than that the game is really amazing, especially considering you made it all in a week. Great job!

Thanks for your feedback. Landmarks are a really good idea and I think it's just what the game needs. I will add them in the next update.

Oh, my bad.  I wish I had known that sooner, my circuits would have been a lot neater.

This is totally awesome, and definately has the potential to be one of the best logic simulators out there (especially as it's free).

A few suggestions (to help you make it the best):

-A way to snap wires to go either vertical or horizontal, maybe by pressing ctrl.

- A way to edit and delete chips you made previously.

- Some way to get more space such as zooming or moving the work area.

- A way to group wires and inputs into a single wire or bus line.

- A decimal representation of negative numbers.

- Moving the mouse over a chip input shows the input name.

Also there is no decimal representation of outputs, and the input names don't show.

Something else that might be interesting is adding a simulation rate to slow down the speed like you demonstrated in the "How do computers remember" video.

I'm excited to see where this project goes. Keep up the good work.
