In what way does your game fit the theme?
In my game the player is forced to move their mouse frantically and hit the space bar succesively in order to protect the earth by shooting missiles at the incoming asteroids.
Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote most of the code myself, i did follow some tutorials though. All the art assets are made by me.

Pretty cool game, I think it was a little too difficult rather than too chaotic though, maybe change the controls a little?
Nice game, I loved the graphics, and the audio fit well. I was a little annoyed by the controls, though. With 50 asteroids on the screen at once, I find it impossible to click on all of them fast enough, let alone click, then press space.
I did manage to win the game, but only after I wrote a quick AutoHotkey script that would click then press space 100 times per second :-) I was able to move my mouse enough to destroy all the asteroids, but just barely. Which is a bit of a shame, the visuals and sounds were great when I destroyed 10 asteroids in a second, but I don't know how accessible that experience is, I certainly can't move my fingers fast enough.
With all of that said, this is still a very impressive first game, and you should be proud of what you were able to do!
It's a nice game, definitely chaotic with many asteroids spawning in. A major weirdness in this game is the fact that you have to press spacebar and click at the same time to shoot, I feel that clicking should be enough. Also a minor issue, asteroids would feel more natural if they would travel in many different directions and not all pointed to the earth, but that's just imo. Otherwise, The graphics and audio was pretty well-made, and nice post-processing effect as well. Great job for your first completed game!
This is a really nice game. I like the postprocessing effects and the gameplay is simple yet fun. Overall, I enjoyed it a lot. Good job!
I really liked the art and sfx, but i think the music needs a bit more work. The concept is cool, it seems like a cool base for a rythm game of some sort.
Heeeey congrats on completing your first game!
I was confused on the controls at first then I got it.
I know there's only a week to make the game but I like to provide feedback to the games I try.
- Nice use of the post processing. (I used that as well.)
- I like the art assets you created.
- Some kind of reticle orbiting the earth which faces the direction of where the mouse is. (I think that made sense.)
- when you select an asteroid you could put a target on top of it. Sometimes I wasn't sure if I actually had it targeted.
If you have a few minutes I'd like to know what you thought of my game as well.
Great job! Love the look of the game and I like the unique input scheme, but I think that I stopped liking once the last wave started, haha. If I could suggest something, instead of making it to shoot with just a click, I think you could still retain the interesting input scheme and make it more enjoyable by allowing the player to select mulitple asteroids at once and with just one press of the spacebar shoot missiles to every selected asteroid. Could add a select cap to keep it a bit harder as well, but yeah overall a great submission!
This was a nice, short and sweet game. It took me two tries to beat, thought the difficulty was perfect. Maybe post-jam you can add some more levels? Perhaps with obstacles / harder to target asteroids? Nonetheless, great work.
Nice art! I think that players should be able to shoot only with the mouse, because I didn't quite like how I had to move my mouse on a asteroid then click left button, and then click space. Also it got too difficult too quickly!! But yeah, other than that nice game!
Thank you so much ๐, the high difficulty level and peculiar controls have been common grievances amongst players, and i have addresed them through replies to their comments, I request you to kindly go through them as it would be difficult for me to explain it to each and every player. Sorry for the trouble and I'm really glad that my game appealed you๐๐.
Very Nice. I liked the pixel art graphics style. It got chaotic very quickly and I couldn't really keep up with the asteroids past 20. I think it could have been better if you just shot rockets towards where the mouse is rather than having to click two things to shoot a rocket.
Other than that, Great Job!

Very cool game! I almost had a heart attack during the last wave holymoly! I think making just one click could make it more enjoyable instead of using both space and click, but it is a great entry! Congrats.
Thank you so much ๐๐. I've received multiple comments suggesting a decrease in difficulty level, I realised that making the waves spawn only after the player destroys all the asteroids in the previous wave makes the game much more easier and fun to play. I will implement all improvements in upcoming versions, stay tuned for that ! ๐.
Congrats on your first game jam submission! I enjoyed playing this game, I hope you make many more
