This was so much fun!! I got a pretty solid giggle out of “it is I, John Capitalism” at the end LMAO

Art style was very nice, platforming was solid even without coyote time, and the music/sound design was awesome :) I would have loved a speedrun timer at the end to try and see how fast you can get everyone, but overall I really enjoyed playing it!

Really cool mechanic! I love the idea of creating your own path through a level and there not being any set solution to making it to your goal!

I agree with what some others have said about it being nice if there were an indicator for where a piece was going to be placed, and I did find the movement a little fast and hard to control, but overall I had fun playing!

Such a cool take on the theme!! I did find in later waves there was really no way to hold out just because the enemies were so much faster than I was and there was no way to really escape. There were also some pretty crazy lag spikes on occasion. Despite this though I spent a good while playing and really enjoyed trying out different builds to find what worked best! Will definitely come back and play more from time to time :)

Such a cool entry!! I was actually so sad when I realized there were only the two fights to get through haha, I’d love to see you keep working on it! Was a lot of fun learning the best way to handle the attack patterns of the bosses and try to nohit them :)

Super fun little game! Feels really polished, loved just playing around with all the little components and seeing how fast I could get the vehicle going LMAO

I do feel like maybe the way you’re detecting a loss is a little sensitive (?) as there were times where I was pretty firmly still on the ground and able to move but the round would end. Despite this though, tons of fun! Would love to see it developed further :D

SUCH a fun game!! Super addicting, loved the art direction tons, and the audio design adds some really great juiciness to popping the pieces around!

You guys did an amazing job :D

It’s insanely impressive that you guys got this done in only 7 days!! Fantastic music and art style, and I was super caught off guard by the story in the best way possible - I think the only thing I had issue with was that the puzzle pieces’ hitboxes didn’t work quite right, so I had trouble getting them to click and drag right.

Overall amazing work :)

Super creative concept! Had a good time cycling through a few times to see all the different laws you could get. The rating system at the end is also very cool - it feels like there was a lot of research put into the game. Good work :)

This is SUCH a great game, so addicting!! The concept is super original and fun to play, and the gameplay feels really polished.

Also, the sound design is absolutely killer overall. I was vibing on the main menu for a bit before I actually moved on to play the game, and then the bug sounds were just SO much fun. Great work!!

Super fun game! Has the makings of a really great cozy game :) I think if anything it would be nice if you could either control the rate of the scissors, or maybe the timer wouldn’t cut you off if you were in the middle of an order when it ran out? I happened to end on an order for glasses and was only able to get about halfway through. Would love to see this updated in the future!

Super cool game idea! Graphics and sound effects were really nice, very juicy and satisfying to interact with :) If anything I wish the instructions on how to play were a little bit clearer - I read the details on the main page as well as the instructions in-game, but it still took me a minute to understand what exactly I was doing. Still fun to play, though!

Really fun concept! I had a good time just flying around, solid controls :)

No way, I remember playing the original game way back! What a fun surprise seeing it again :D

Still just as great as I remember it being :)

Fantastic entry!! Loved the combat and the environmental interactivity, and it definitely felt like an NES beat-em-up! I had a lot of fun figuring out the best timing to use for each enemy type. Definitely hard but so much fun :)

I like the writing, it’s funny and gives the game some personality! I wish that the gameplay changed up a bit as you go on since there’s nothing to really encourage you to do anything but stand in one spot, but it’s fun to stand and grind through enemies for a while!

Really great entry, especially for your first jam! Graphics are very nice, concept is simple but really fun to try and master.

Sometimes it was hard to tell where the hitboxes would be since they didn’t entirely match up with the sprites of the bumpers, and I think even just a couple sound effects would make things even better in terms of game feel, but I really love it overall :)

I ended up getting a 37.34 on Hardhard on my last try!

Really cute! I like the progression in mechanics between levels a lot.

Some music would be nice and I think it would have been cool if the UI was more styled to match everything else, but overall it’s a nice little game!
