Too long. It gets repetitive at some point. Great music though.

There is a small collider on top of the character, Sometimes what happens when jumping is that the force of landing makes the character sink bit and rise back up but during that sinking phase, the collider touches the water and the player drowns. I found this bug after submitting and hence didn't have time to fix this bug. Thanks for the feedback, I'll try to make it easier in future developments.
This is a really good concept. To turn a simple game on to its sides... Can't believe you really coded an entire chess engine in like 5 hours of coding. It is really impressive that you did this in such a short amount of time. It is a bit hard to play on a laptop due to the vertical nature of the game but apart from that, its really fun to play.
The camera feels too close to the player, I feel like I'm going to no-clip out of reality every time the meteor(I assume) hits me. the hit boxes are a bit too big too. make it a bit smaller. Another suggestion to fix the camera too close problem is to give an indication or warning sign if something comes towards us from outside the camera. This is really good for a 2 and half an hour development. Keep working :)
OMG The best fast paced game I've ever played for a game jam. I would love for you to develop more of this game. Its really fun to bait them and go. One thing is the art style, it looked a bit blurry, idk if its intentional but try and make it a bit better. You could actually do a full release of this game.
The art is really good and the postprocessing for this storyline is nearly perfect.
but, I found a few oversights.
- Esc might be a bad option to close Interaction menu as it minimises the full screen instead of closing the interaction.
- The gameplay feels quiet complex, This it at least in my opinion, A fun tutorial section for the defence might be better.
- Mapping the interaction to something like E or Q might be better to reach instead of Z. (Thus is not really a problem, just an preference.
Apart from that, its a really good game, especially for a 4 hr development.

Hi. It's wonderful to know about you and your 10+ years of experience. It is very important for anyone interested in game development to come together. When I say game development, I meant all components, a programmer, music or art designer etc. But to keep this community as best as possible, I ask you not to promote yourself in the community tab. Feel free to find teams using the community tab though. We will soon create a discord server for such promotions. Thank you 😊
